The game displays a portion of the image from a magic card and presents you with a list of choices. You have 30 seconds to choose the correct card. There are 6 different Awards that you can earn, each more difficult than the last.
If you have a few spare minutes, give it a try, and let me know what you think.
Seems to be pretty well put together. For now, I simply did a yellow ribbon. Sulfurous Springs threw me off, as I don't pay much attention to land art. Cursed swamps!
completed the silver medal level. interesting, but if you know the cards well enough, everything up to gold medal is cake
I've had people complain that it's too easy, and that it's too hard. That probably means that things are just about right.
If you know the cards very well, then you are correct that you'll do very well at the game. I had someone comment the other day that the game might be a good way to quickly recognize cards and help your ability to play in limited formats. An interesting idea that...
Thanks for the feedback, and keep those comments coming. The more I hear about what is good and bad the more I can improve the game.
What would folks like to see as the next set added?
Not sure how you're generating the partial images, but assuming it's feasible it might be fun to obscure them by other means than only showing small pieces. Effects like extreme blurring, pixellation or pallette remapping might make for good puzzles.
