B. Greebo - Mishra's Workshop, Eater of Days, Smokestack, Challice of the Void
E spiritu sancti amen I rejected two of Greebo's decks before he finally submitted a legal decklist identical to mine. Kinda funny. In any case, our decks were nigh-invulnerable, receiving no zeroes over the course of the tournament. Horray for us!
D. halinn - Time Vault, Glacial Chasm, Storm World, Sandstone Needle
Skipping stones Your win condition was a major sticking point here; you couldn't win any matches because they could just choose to never play any cards. A flawed deck design.
E. r_x_ - City of Traitors, Mana Crypt, Chalice of the Void, Phyrexian Processor
And you thought last week was hard to count.dec Since I have a firm grasp of algebra, I actually don't find Processor hard to calculate at all. I'll work a game out until it's 6-x to 20-5x and then I'll realize that if x=4 then the Processor player has won. This deck was easy as pie compared to lasts. BTW, nice deck.
F. help im a bug- Black Lotus, Leonin Squire, Silver Drake, Tendrils of Agony
Storm and Drake Unfortunately you underestimated the number of early wins in this format. Very often you could only attack once or not at all after you got someone to 6, or your creatures would be Smokestacked away too soon.
G. Chimpanzee- Black Lotus, Aluren, Cavern Harpy, Patron Wizard
Don't Patronize Me! You're one of the few people that managed to find a control deck that's more or less unique to the Helm of Awakening format. Originality is awesome. Really.
H. god child - Black Lotus, Leonin Squire x 2, Form of the Dragon
Still titled. One of two Form decks in the format. I think both builds were about equal, but the other idea had more potential to it.
I. Nazgul_Master - Illusionary Mask, Phyrexian Dreadnought x2, Black Lotus
Turn one 24/24, did I break any records? Well, it's more like two 12/12s, and no, you didn't. Thoomor's deck slaps you around, as do the Form-based decks.
K. Annorax - Mishra's Workshop, Noetic Scales, Scalding Tongs x2
Rack? **** Rack! We don't need no stinking Rack! Double Tongs? That's shady. However, Noetic Scales is quite a wise choice in a format full of first-turn lethal creature threats. Frankly, I don't think it matters that much what your forth card is.
L. wonkey_donkey - Mishra's Workshop, Black Lotus, Chalice of the Void, Platinum Angel
Good angel. Niiiiice angel... Angel ruins a lot of parties. Challice also ruins a lot of parties. I think the philosophy here is "good decks are made out of good cards" and this deck definitely lives by that rule. Nice choice.
M. silicon - Mishra's Workshop, Smokestack, Summoner's Egg, Darksteel Colossus
Colossus Egg The primary difference between Colossus and Eater of Days is that Colossus takes an extra card to get out. If you refine your deck you'll eventually arrive at what me and Greebo had.
N. Yawgmoth - Black Lotus, Eureka, Form of the Dragon x2
2-Turn-Clock Although I like the idea of Eureka-ing out a Form as much as you do, I can't help but think that the other card could be something else. A second Form is sort of redundant, and an extra card could have covered one of your weak spots.
P. SALAd - Black Lotus, Leonin Squire, Shrieking Drake, Hunting Pack
Release the hounds! Although two cards different, these decks were still essentially the same thing. 31 power worth of creatures on turn 1 isn't much different from infinite creatures... except, of course, in the mirror.
R. bateleur - Peat Bog, Disciple of the Vault, Conjurer's Bauble x2
"Playing With My Baubles" The two above decks were functionally identical. Very nice little combo deck that abuses the Helm of Awakening mechanic to the fullest.
S. Silver Seraph - Meekstone, Black Lotus, Swords to Plowshares, Glowrider
1 mana less? Not for you! I'm surprised you're the only one who played Glowrider. Well, I'm not surprised that it's you, Mister White Mage, but that the card didn't see more play. Nice deck, although Meekstone seemed a tad weak.
T. worthawholebean - Mishra's Workshop, Rackling x3
Who said The Rack was banned? Rackling is a little too cute for this format. The Lavaborn Muse deck was just slighly better designed (although the Black Lotus was a liability against opposing Smokestacks).
U. Dusk_ - Plains, Mox Jet, Skittering Horror, Vindicate
Proper Justice Unfortunately, this format seems a little too quick for "junk" decks like this one. Not that I'm knocking Junk as an archetype... I love it, personally.
W. Lone Warrior - Mishra's Workshop, Mox Ruby, Smokestack, Leveler
My Favorite Stax.dec Leveler doesn't have anything on Eater of Days... and Challice would have helped.
X. SorryGuy - Black Lotus, Treasure Hunter, Blood Moon, Preacher
Do not even understand the deck? So what! It's a deck with Preacher in it, therefore it's good against creature decks. What else is there to understand?

Basic Rules
- Your deck is composed of 4 cards, all of which start in your hand.
- Your deck has no sideboard.
- You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
- You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
- Your random effects always go in your opponent's favor.
- All other rules of Magic remain unchanged, unless otherwise stated. Tournament Rules
- All matches are played out by the moderator (participants only submit the decks).
- Tournaments are run in round-robin fashion.
- Each matchup consists of 2 games, with each deck going first once.
- Participants earn 3 points if their deck wins a game, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss; thus, over the course of a match, you can earn 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, or 0 points. Deck-Building Rules

yeah. sorry; there was some confusion over W because he edited his decklist and, when I first did the results, I used his old decklist. I guess there was some contamination over to your adjacent column. i'll correct it

1T: Workshop, Rackling
1G: Lotus, Aluren, Patron Wizard, Cavern Harpy bouncing Patron Wizard, Replay Wizard
2T: Nothing (if rackling attacks I block with damage on stack to kill and leave threatless, if he plays another patron wizard taps)
2G: Take 3 from rackling, attack for 4, no blocks (for the same reason that he didn't attack last turn) (17,16)
3T: Can play a racling or do nothing. If he plays a rackling I can just pay 1 life, bounce harpy, replay harpy, bounce patron, replay patron and counter. (16-17,16)
3G: Take 3 from rackling, hit for 4 (13-14,12)

7T: Attack, if he doesn't block he dies, if he does I bounce harpy with damage on stack, replay harpy bouncing patron, and replay patron and kill him next turn.

I have a question about Nazgul_Master's deck. How does he pay the activation cost on the Mask ? Can Workshop do that ?

My bad. Actually, it's good you brought it up...
The reason this week's 4CB is so late is that I noticed he had Workshop instead of... well, something that worked. Since the non-errata'd version of Illusonary Mask allows Workshop, I felt sorry for him, and I PM'd him, telling him he had to pick Lotus or City immediately. It took him a while, but eventually he picked Lotus, and when I calculated the results that's what I had him using.
I'm editing the thread to represent what his deck REALLY was.

Er, no.
I'm playing for a tie, remember?
To win, you MUST do this:
Drop stax,
drop egg,
sac egg to stack
I just sit there watching. once you have a stack counter and have the colossus in play I drop everything. you then have to sac two permananents in your upkeep (1 to braids, 1 to stack). this leaves you with either no creature, or nothing but a colossus, and me with a braids in play.
so, if either of us tries to win, we lose. so no one does anything.
I didn't bother checking anything else, but it's possibly the same sort of issue.

M. add counter, sac egg
C. drop everything
M. sac stax to braids, swing with colossus

Denied! He's not playing to win, he's playing to draw. You can't win until you sacrifice the Egg to your own Smokestack; after that, he plays all his stuff, and your board gets wiped. Of course, as you proved, he can't win either. You both do nothing and you draw out of boredom.

M. silicon vs. E. r_x_

You shouldn't have said anything. It was supposed to be 4-1 for him.
going first
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
E1. City, Crypt, Challice @ 1, Processor (20-X)
M2. add Soot counter, play egg
E2. Crypt hurts (17-X), make X/X token, sacrifice Challice
M3. sacrifice egg, get Colossus, add soot counter
E3. Crypt hurts (14-X), make X/X token, sacrifice Crypt and Workshop
At this point he isn't going to win (you'd need three tokens to win) so he just wants to draw. X=12, and you can't get rid of his guys without killing your Colossus. It's a draw.
going second
E1. City, Crypt, Challice @ 1, Processor (20-X)
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
E2. Crypt hurts (17-X), make an X/X token
M2. add a Soot counter, play Egg
E3. Crypt hurts (14-X), make an X/X token, sacrifice Challice
M3. Sacrifice Egg, get your Colossus, add a Soot counter
E4. Crypt hurts (11-X), make an X/X token, sacrifice Crypt and Workshop
It's clear at this point that X=10. Each token is 10/10.
Now, if you play for the win...
M4. Sacrifice Smokestack and Workshop, stare down 3 10/10s, realize that if you attack he counterswings with two 10/10s.
E5. He attacks with three 10/10s. You die.
If you play for the draw...
M4. Sacrifice Workshop and Colossus, add a Soot counter
E5. Sacrifice Processor and two tokens
M5. You wipe your board and scoop to a 10/10 you can't deal with.
So that's -3 points for you! :grin2:
edit: or it would be if you were right about the match result in the first place. it wasn't 6-0, it was 3-3... so i guess you only lose 2 points...

i was wrong... but so were you. it's 2-2...
M1. workshop, smokestack
H1. squire x2, form
M2. add soot counter, egg
H2. sacrifice squire, hit the egg with form
M3. sacrifice workshop
At this point, you both have two permanents. You can choose to either lose to Form or wipe both boards with Smokestack. You choose to draw.

Denied! Again, he's playing to draw. He does nothing until you get Colossus out. Then he drops his hand. It's your three permanents vs his three permanents, and his last one is just as good as your last one. You can't win, although neither can he.

this, sirs, is easily the hardest matchup to calculate this round. i'll be honest... i got pissed off and started guessing. but since it's challenged, i have to work it out
if you block and then add a soot counter on your upkeep
M3. sacrifice workshop, attack (9)
W3. sacrifice workshop and smokestack
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus, W wins
if you block, don't add a counter, and sacrifice workshop
M3. attack (9)
W3. sacrifice workshop, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus, W wins
if you block and sacrifice smokestack
M3. attack (9)
W3. add soot counter
M4. sacrifice workshop, attack, he has to block (8)
W4. sacrifice workshop
M5. sacrifice colossus, both players have no win, draw game
but what if you don't block?
W2. attack (10)
M3. sacrifice Egg
if you add a soot counter after sacrificing egg
W3. sacrifice workshop and leveler, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice all three of your permanents, you both draw
if you don't add a soot counter after sacrificing egg
W3. sacrifice workshop, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice your non-colossus permanents, can't attack (you're at 10)
W4. sacrifice leveler
M5. sacrifice colossus, draw
so in other words, attacking draws a game that would otherwise be lost. yeah, it's bad
when he's going first
first let's go down this road and see if it works...
W1. workshop, mox, smokestack
M1. workshop, egg (if you play smokestack he's just going to make you choose between it and your workshop)
W2. no soot counter, leveler
M2. smokestack
W3. add soot counter, attack!
if you block
M3. sacrifice workshop, soot counter doesn't matter, attack (9)
W4. sacrifice mox (and maybe workshop), add soot counter if you didn't
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus
W5. sacrifice smokestack - still has leveler for the win
if you don't block and add a soot counter
M3. sacrifice egg, get colossus, add soot counter
W4. sacrifice mox and workshop
M4. sacrifice non-colossus permanents, can't swing because you're at 10
W5. sacrifice leveler because he can't sac smokestack
M5. cleared board - tie
So you can tie if he leads with Smokestack. What about if he leads Leveler and you lead with Smokestack?
W1. Workshop, Mox, Leveler
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
W2. Smokestack, attack (10)
M2. soot counter doesn't matter, egg
W3. sacrifices mox (if you added counter), adds soot counter if you didn't, attack, you have to block and get your colossus
M3. sacrifice workshop, then...
if you add soot counter
M3. can't attack (you're at 10!)
W4. sacrifice smokestack and workshop (if you added counter on M2) or mox and workshop (if you didn't)
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus
W5. sacrifice smokestack to itself (if applicable) -- leveler wins
if you don't add soot counter
M3. can't attack (you're at 10!)
W4. sacrifice workshop, add counter
M4. you sacrifice both your permanents - he wins
so let's now try him leveler first, you egg first (pulls his hair out)
W1. Leveler
M1. Egg
W2. Smokestack (attacking is bad here)
M2. Smokestack
W3. adds soot counter, attacks!
if you block
M3. sacrifice workshop, soot counter doesn't matter, attack (9)
W4. sacrifice mox (and maybe workshop), adds soot counter if you didn't, attacks
M4. your board is wiped
if you take it (10), sacrifice egg and add a soot counter
W4. sacrifice workshop and mox, no soot
M4. sacrifice non-Colossus permanents
W5. sacrifice levler
M5. sacrifice colosssus
W6. sacrifice smokestack
ok, I finally found a draw for you. congratulations... you gained a point!
After all that work, I find out it's 2-2.

whew... that was a lot...
And, weirdly enough, you didn't get a single result right.
Spock is not portrayed correctly. If Vulcans are above petty emotions, what motivates him to join the most elite starship crew in the galaxy? I, on the other hand, have transcended the weakness of emotion and achieved a blissful lack of caring. Apathy is my strength, our strength, which prevents us from being all-to-human. In this spirit, may Meh be with you, always.
Hm.. well if you wait to drop everything then it would look like this:
C. sit
M. drop workshop, stax
C. sit
M. drop egg
C. sit
M. add counter, sac egg
C. drop everything
M. sac stax to braids, swing with colossus
This is where you make yet ANOTHER error.
THe stack has a counter on it. So, in your upkeep, TWO abilities trigger. You sack the stack and the land... and so don't have it next turn, so you'll sac the colossus.
C. if you let the damage through you sac and replay city, if not, you sit
M. I sac land and swing with colossus, you'll block if you didn't the first time
C. sit
M. I swing and win
This is where you make yet ANOTHER error.
THe stack has a counter on it. So, in your upkeep, TWO abilities trigger. You sack the stack and the land... and so don't have it next turn, so you'll sac the colossus.

When I get the colossus, yes there is a counter on my stack.
He then plays everything.
During my upkeep, this is what happens: 3 abilities trigger, the two from stax, and the one from braids. Since I'm the active player the stax abilities go on the stax first so the stack looks like this (from bottom to top):
I may put a counter on stax, I sac for the number counters on stax, I sac something to braids.
I sac my stax to braids to satisfy her requirement. When the stax ability it triggered, it looks to see how many counters are on stax - it's not in play, so I don't sac anything to it. Same goes for the last ability. I go 6-0 against, whamme.
I don't have time to look over the rest, although glancing at it, it appear you're right on the form one -_-;

4CB #61 is a special format. All spells cost less to play, and Sol Ring is banned.
Decklists Received:
A. billking - Mishra's Workshop, Eater of Days, Smokestack, Challice of the Void
deja vu all over again
B. Greebo - Mishra's Workshop, Eater of Days, Smokestack, Challice of the Void
E spiritu sancti amen
I rejected two of Greebo's decks before he finally submitted a legal decklist identical to mine. Kinda funny. In any case, our decks were nigh-invulnerable, receiving no zeroes over the course of the tournament. Horray for us!
C. whamme - Black Lotus, Braids, Cabal Minion, City of Traitors, Crucible of Worlds
[Such a beautiful Braids...]
In a format with Smokestack, Braids is a little too cute.
D. halinn - Time Vault, Glacial Chasm, Storm World, Sandstone Needle
Skipping stones
Your win condition was a major sticking point here; you couldn't win any matches because they could just choose to never play any cards. A flawed deck design.
E. r_x_ - City of Traitors, Mana Crypt, Chalice of the Void, Phyrexian Processor
And you thought last week was hard to count.dec
Since I have a firm grasp of algebra, I actually don't find Processor hard to calculate at all.
Storm and Drake
Unfortunately you underestimated the number of early wins in this format.
J. SOS - Black Lotus, Lavaborn Muse, Ensnaring Bridge, City Of Traitors
Chronicle of Traitors
Ensnaring Bridge was pretty good this time... many decks relied on creature combat and were ligth on removal. Good choice.
Colossus Egg
The primary difference between Colossus and Eater of Days is that Colossus takes an extra card to get out. If you refine your deck you'll eventually arrive at what me and Greebo had.
N. Yawgmoth - Black Lotus, Eureka, Form of the Dragon x2
2-Turn-Clock
Although I like the idea of Eureka-ing out a Form as much as you do, I can't help but think that the other card could be something else. A second Form is sort of redundant, and an extra card could have covered one of your weak spots.
O. Thoomor - Black Lotus, Conjurer's Bauble x2, Hunting Pack
The (Echoing) Truth is (hopefully not) out there
Q. jcsuperstar - Ebon Stronhold, Disciple of the Vault, Conjurer's Bauble x2
"Undisruptable" or "Strictly worse than Swamp"
R. bateleur - Peat Bog, Disciple of the Vault, Conjurer's Bauble x2
"Playing With My Baubles"
The two above decks were functionally identical.
Proper Justice
Unfortunately, this format seems a little too quick for "junk" decks like this one. Not that I'm knocking Junk as an archetype... I love it, personally.
V. spuzzem king - black lotus, decree of silence, leonin squire x2
ahhhh right in the balls
You have no idea how often I said that while calculating results.
W. Lone Warrior - Mishra's Workshop, Mox Ruby, Smokestack, Leveler
My Favorite Stax.dec
Leveler doesn't have anything on Eater of Days... and Challice would have helped.
X. SorryGuy - Black Lotus, Treasure Hunter, Blood Moon, Preacher
Do not even understand the deck? So what!
It's a deck with Preacher in it, therefore it's good against creature decks. What else is there to understand?

4CB BASICS
How do I play?
Just submit your deck to me, billking, via Private Message, and you'll be signed up for next weeks game... and that's all you have to do. Submission periods for each week end promptly at 1AM Pacific Time on Tuesday morning (4AM Eastern, 9AM GMT). In the case that I receive more than 25 entries in a single week, entries beyond the 25th will be ignored. As long as the cards and your deckname are in the message, you're good, but... where you replace <> with []. If you have two of a card, just type it once followed by "x2" after the card tag. Thanks
Making Corrections
Just post them in this thread. Remember, corrections are always due by 1AM Pacific the Saturday morning following the posting of this thread; after that, results become final, even if they're wrong.
- You may not submit a deck that can win before the end of your opponent's first turn.
- You may not submit a deck that can force an opponent to discard more than 1 card in one turn.
- You may not submit a deck that can generate infinite (or an arbitrarily large amount of) mana on the first turn.
- Your deck may not include Unglued or Unhinged cards, ante cards, Garfield event cards (such as Splendid Genesis or Proposal), or 1996 World Champion.
- You may not include a card that appears on the 4CB Banned List.

T. worthawholebean - Mishra's Workshop, Rackling x3
Current Score- 3-3
Proposed Score - 6-0
3G: Take 3 from rackling, hit for 4 (13-14,12)
4T: See 3T (12-14,12)
4G: See 3G (9-11,8)
5T: See 4T (11-14,8)
5G: See 4G (8-11, 4)
6T: He is now either out of racklings or can make me use one life countering. (8-11,4)
7T: Attack, if he doesn't block he dies, if he does I bounce harpy with damage on stack, replay harpy bouncing patron, and replay patron and kill him next turn.

It really can't.
Unless the rules for this week altered the converted mana cost of spells played, in which case he drops 'em for free and burns for 2.
Make that turn...15 or so...didn't realize that this was a normal week again.
I'm editing the thread to represent what his deck REALLY was.

if he tries sitting with glowrider and swords in hand, I sit with my creatures in my hand. In that event, it's a tie.

Tie out of boredom
whew... that was a lot...
Hm.. well if you wait to drop everything then it would look like this:
C. sit
M. drop workshop, stax
C. sit
M. drop egg
C. sit
M. add counter, sac egg
C. drop everything
M. sac stax to braids, swing with colossus
C. if you let the damage through you sac and replay city, if not, you sit
M. I sac land and swing with colossus, you'll block if you didn't the first time
C. sit
M. I swing and win
slightly different play, I still go 6-0
You shouldn't have said anything. It was supposed to be 4-1 for him.
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
E1. City, Crypt, Challice @ 1, Processor (20-X)
M2. add Soot counter, play egg
E2. Crypt hurts (17-X), make X/X token, sacrifice Challice
M3. sacrifice egg, get Colossus, add soot counter
E3. Crypt hurts (14-X), make X/X token, sacrifice Crypt and Workshop
At this point he isn't going to win (you'd need three tokens to win) so he just wants to draw. X=12, and you can't get rid of his guys without killing your Colossus. It's a draw.
going second
E1. City, Crypt, Challice @ 1, Processor (20-X)
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
E2. Crypt hurts (17-X), make an X/X token
M2. add a Soot counter, play Egg
E3. Crypt hurts (14-X), make an X/X token, sacrifice Challice
M3. Sacrifice Egg, get your Colossus, add a Soot counter
E4. Crypt hurts (11-X), make an X/X token, sacrifice Crypt and Workshop
It's clear at this point that X=10. Each token is 10/10.
Now, if you play for the win...
M4. Sacrifice Smokestack and Workshop, stare down 3 10/10s, realize that if you attack he counterswings with two 10/10s.
E5. He attacks with three 10/10s. You die.
If you play for the draw...
M4. Sacrifice Workshop and Colossus, add a Soot counter
E5. Sacrifice Processor and two tokens
M5. You wipe your board and scoop to a 10/10 you can't deal with.
edit: or it would be if you were right about the match result in the first place. it wasn't 6-0, it was 3-3... so i guess you only lose 2 points...
i was wrong... but so were you. it's 2-2...
M1. workshop, smokestack
H1. squire x2, form
M2. add soot counter, egg
H2. sacrifice squire, hit the egg with form
M3. sacrifice workshop
Denied! This is a familiar theme; he plays to draw, and it's three permanents vs three permanents after Colossus is out.
you got me regarding when he draws first... for some reason i thought egg costs with glowrider out. but he can always just swords when you try to get colossus out. should be 2-2. this, sirs, is easily the hardest matchup to calculate this round. i'll be honest... i got pissed off and started guessing. but since it's challenged, i have to work it out
M1. workshop, smokestack
W1. workshop, mox, leveler
M2. add soot counter, egg
W2. sacrifice mox, smokestack, attack (noob!)
if you block and then add a soot counter on your upkeep
M3. sacrifice workshop, attack (9)
W3. sacrifice workshop and smokestack
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus, W wins
if you block, don't add a counter, and sacrifice workshop
M3. attack (9)
W3. sacrifice workshop, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus, W wins
if you block and sacrifice smokestack
M3. attack (9)
W3. add soot counter
M4. sacrifice workshop, attack, he has to block (8)
W4. sacrifice workshop
M5. sacrifice colossus, both players have no win, draw game
but what if you don't block?
W2. attack (10)
M3. sacrifice Egg
if you add a soot counter after sacrificing egg
W3. sacrifice workshop and leveler, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice all three of your permanents, you both draw
if you don't add a soot counter after sacrificing egg
W3. sacrifice workshop, add soot counter
M4. sacrifice your non-colossus permanents, can't attack (you're at 10)
W4. sacrifice leveler
M5. sacrifice colossus, draw
so in other words, attacking draws a game that would otherwise be lost. yeah, it's bad
when he's going first
first let's go down this road and see if it works...
W1. workshop, mox, smokestack
M1. workshop, egg (if you play smokestack he's just going to make you choose between it and your workshop)
W2. no soot counter, leveler
M2. smokestack
W3. add soot counter, attack!
if you block
M3. sacrifice workshop, soot counter doesn't matter, attack (9)
W4. sacrifice mox (and maybe workshop), add soot counter if you didn't
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus
W5. sacrifice smokestack - still has leveler for the win
if you don't block and add a soot counter
M3. sacrifice egg, get colossus, add soot counter
W4. sacrifice mox and workshop
M4. sacrifice non-colossus permanents, can't swing because you're at 10
W5. sacrifice leveler because he can't sac smokestack
M5. cleared board - tie
So you can tie if he leads with Smokestack. What about if he leads Leveler and you lead with Smokestack?
W1. Workshop, Mox, Leveler
M1. Workshop, Smokestack
W2. Smokestack, attack (10)
M2. soot counter doesn't matter, egg
W3. sacrifices mox (if you added counter), adds soot counter if you didn't, attack, you have to block and get your colossus
M3. sacrifice workshop, then...
if you add soot counter
M3. can't attack (you're at 10!)
W4. sacrifice smokestack and workshop (if you added counter on M2) or mox and workshop (if you didn't)
M4. sacrifice smokestack and colossus
W5. sacrifice smokestack to itself (if applicable) -- leveler wins
if you don't add soot counter
M3. can't attack (you're at 10!)
W4. sacrifice workshop, add counter
M4. you sacrifice both your permanents - he wins
so let's now try him leveler first, you egg first (pulls his hair out)
W1. Leveler
M1. Egg
W2. Smokestack (attacking is bad here)
M2. Smokestack
W3. adds soot counter, attacks!
if you block
M3. sacrifice workshop, soot counter doesn't matter, attack (9)
W4. sacrifice mox (and maybe workshop), adds soot counter if you didn't, attacks
M4. your board is wiped
if you take it (10), sacrifice egg and add a soot counter
W4. sacrifice workshop and mox, no soot
M4. sacrifice non-Colossus permanents
W5. sacrifice levler
M5. sacrifice colosssus
W6. sacrifice smokestack
ok, I finally found a draw for you. congratulations... you gained a point!
This is where you make yet ANOTHER error.
THe stack has a counter on it. So, in your upkeep, TWO abilities trigger. You sack the stack and the land... and so don't have it next turn, so you'll sac the colossus.
mod knows what is right

And a merciful and just mod he is too.
But I like to fight!
I don't have time to look over the rest, although glancing at it, it appear you're right on the form one -_-;
