1) yes they did
2) all sorts of red tape and hoops to jump through. Then of course theyd need a stadium so this move is a realistic 3-5 years away 3) the team would need approval from all 31 teams to make the move
This isn't necessarily wrong, it's just misleading, your second statement pretty much merges in with this. The NFL by-laws state that it needs approval, however, they can bypass this if they don't have a lease. If the Rams truly wanted out of St. Louis, they could essentially term the lease, then make a few woeful attempts at re-negotiating the lease, then apply for relocation. If the team is currently without a lease, they'd only need a simple majority of teams, including the 3 closest markets saying yes.
There are in fact, even more provisions than just these ones, but the process is so long and complicated, I don't think anyone wants to actually explain the whole thing, it's nothing like it is in Madden, that's for sure.

The Rams still have a 30 year lease. It just has an out clause. From every artie ice read, theyd still need approval from 24 of the leagues team owners.
So, a small-ish story from today: Guy to Hall of Fame.
Al Davis is either smiling from heaven or laughing in hell, depending on you allegience and opinion of him......
Davis was only ever about the deep ball and attitude on defense. I dont see him throwing a party over Ray Guy. And for those keeping score at home, I never liked Davis
Thought a few guys got in prematurely today but im glad to see my favorite Buffalo Bill ever FINALLY get the nod

I think Al would of been more happy along the lines that another Raider got in...
And this raises the question: Are there any other kickers who would potentially see the Hall? Quick gut says maybe Vinatieri...... will have to look up stats to see if I romanticizing his career thusfar.

Jason Hanson needs to be in the HoF at some point. All his 50 footers and being the all time leading scorer on the Lions currently should be a shoe in. But I know kickers usually get screwed anyway, so w/e.
I don't see why the Rams would get moved to LA. Jacksonville on the other hand...
Also, I don't think I posted my predict for the SB. I'm let my fiancee choose. She is going with Seahawks. Why? She can't stand Peyton's commercials.
Because their owner just bought a ton of land there and they already have a preexisting fanbase in LA.
he also already owns land in LA and other cities though. He has a bit of the real estate bug from what I read in the Detroit Free Press a couple days ago.
But, it wouldn't be the Rams anymore because of whatever rule/law went down a couple years back, right? They'd have to have a new nickname?
At least then, St Louis would still own the rights to "Rams" and a new owner could reestablish the team.

AFAIK, the team name is owned by the team itself in this case. So no St. Louis would not keep the team name.
I'm not a big sports watcher but I've kept my eye on Seattle this season and I did not see this coming. Well...you can't spell slaughter without laughter.
Manning is still the best QB ive ever seen play the game
I second that.
But oh my did Denver get dominated on both lines of scrimmage... well, for that matter, in all facets of the game.

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
But oh my did Denver get dominated on both lines of scrimmage... well, for that matter, in all facets of the game.
They actually scored in almost every way possible. The only couple ways they DIDN'T score, was a Punt Return TD, Fumble recovery TD, and a 2 point conversion. Other than that, they hit the rest.
did Manning and Brady enter the league the same year?
No. Manning was drafted in 1998 and immediately started for the Colts. Brady was drafted in 2000 and was a backup until 2001, when Drew Bledsoe suffered a serious injury in the second game of the season.
However you want to rank them, I think any football fan would agree that both belong in the top 5 QBs of all time (at minimum) and it's been a privilege to have both in the league for the past decade and a half.
WOW!:o Go Seattle defense! I thought for sure if Seattle won it would be a close game and if there was a blow out it would be all Manning. I certainly did not expect this.
Seattle did it all too. Got the 2 from a safety, had a passing TD, a rushing TD, a kick off run back, and a pick six. Pretty much a perfect game from Seattle.
As a native of Washington state I'm glad Seattle won (mostly because everyone around me is really pumped about it), but more than anything, I really wish I was in downtown Seattle tonight. That's a city that has been itching for a major sport championship for a loooooooong time.
I was actually pretty happy with it. One of the local auto parts stores in my city said last week that if Seattle wins they'd discount everything for a week by however many points the Hawks score. 43% off baby!

A safety to start the Super Bowl...... wow.
540 Peasant cube- Gold EditionSomething SpicyBroncos looked absolutely horrible on all aspects. Seattle was clearly the better team. The officiating was pretty good in this game too.
Either way, Im happy seattle won. 2 straight birdbro championships.

Everyone can have their opinion sure.
Mine is that he is the best regular season and statistical qb of all-time.
It still goes montana, brady, manning for me with brady one more title short of the top spot.

I really thought this was going to be a nail biter, a back and forth game that was going to be decided on a game winning play.
Instead, I get to watch an absolute blowout. Sigh...
