I am also glad that LA clippers are stealing the spot light from the LA lakers. That would be even more awesome if they win this year as well. In other news, I am glad Houston is playing well with Jeremy lin, just wish lin was somewhat more consistent though.
If the clippers, probably one of the least respected franchises ever, win it all, I'd be a fan for life. I root for the poor nuggets for the same reason. But the clippers winnin it all would be glorious.
Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
I wouldn't be surprised either. The Clippers are really, really good this year. They're playing great offense and defense, they know how to run the floor, they have size, they have an extremely deep bench. But don't sleep on the Thunder or Spurs. For some reason I think the Thunder are falling into that category the Spurs are in -- boring because they're going to make it all the way anyway. But don't sleep on them, because I know both of them can beat the Clippers in 7 games.
Yeah, the west definitely is extremely fierce and it's been like that for several years now but that's nothing new.

Hey, I'd be rooting for the clippers too, the lakers had everything a huge fan base, multiple championships, the fame, and the pride. So now I think it's time for the clippers to rise and take what belongs to them.
Not to mention, I always liked Chris Paul, I have always felt he was one of the best players in the league today. He's a fierce competitor and he is just as great as anyone else in nba history at the point guard position in my opinion.
Well, all LeBron has besides himself and his mindblowing versatility is an aging D-Wade who is probably running on human growth hormone, and a soft Chris Bosh who isn't cutting it anymore. There's more to the game than a bulldozing versatile superstar and a bench of guys who are supposed to do nothing but shoot threes, and this Heat team isn't built that way.
What does Wade have do with anything ? He is shooting career high fg% and 3pt %.
The real problem is Bosh and the coach. How the hell does 6"11 guy get 1 rebound round with 30 something minutes ? Why do you bench one of your best players for the entire 4th quarter ? Why is he only getting 30 minutes a game and on some night even less ?
The Maloofs just sold the Kings to the Seattle group. Now I guess we wait for the city of Sacramento's move, but honestly basketball looks pretty promising in Seattle.
About Frox: for nearly 10 years, Frox has been helping women look good and feel great in easy-fit, mix-and-match, and work-to-weekend with just a few pieces by helping them make the right choices when it comes to clothing and accessories.
The Seattle Kings sounds a bit Funny
Is the deal confirmed? It was only rumored in the morning and they were also looking for a Sacramento group that'd make a bid.
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed by ESPN that the sale was pending League approval. But Stern said a while ago the Sacramento group could counter-offer in this situation. I wouldn't expect a definite conclusion for a while, but all I know is that SAC is closer to losing the Kings than ever before.
And I think they would try to take the Supersonics name back.

That'd be nice (sorry Kings fans). I'm from the Kemp+Payton days. The NBA just isn't the same without the Seattle Supersonics... But didn't the Thunder take the Sonic's history when they moved? (titles and retired jerseys)
Technically. But if a team goes back to Seattle the strong feeling is the Thunder's owner won't say no and David Stern will happily turn over the name, jerseys, and history of the Sonics.
Also I agree, I miss the Sonics. They had really nice Jerseys and they were always fun to watch in the mid 90s.
Yeah, I miss the sonics as well. But I am certainly glad Seattle has an NBA team again though. Seattle always needed a NBA team and now they have one once again.

I am glad Paul Pierce has been picking up steam though including a triple double against the heat and shooting a game winner jumpshot over Lebron to win it in double overtime. Paul Pierce is still a force to be reckon with in the nba.
Although, I do agree that the future of the Celtics is uncertain.

Well, it looks like the lakers are winning a few games here and there and so now they are like 4 games under 50 percent.
And they will likely continue to play .500 ball 'till the end of the season.
I don't see Utah or Dallas play much better in the remaining matches, so the Lakers are likely to make the playoffs.
Where SAS or OKC will eat them alive.
And Miami shows how ridiculously weak the Eastern Conference is. They should promote Miami to the west after this season, and demote the red lantern of the west to the east.

At that time, I wouldn't disagree. I was just saying. I mean don't get me wrong the lakers are a good team.
But obviously, the Lakers are aging and so they aren't as nearly as dominate as they were when they won their two championships in a row and so I agree they won't last long against either the spurs or the thunder.
So out of the remaining teams... who wants who in the finals and who do you want to win it? And why to both of those questions.
Personally I would like to a Golden State Warrior vs. Indiana Pacers. Golden State in because we have a decent number of fans here in Sacramento and it would be good for business. More than a few of them might be fair weather fans, but their money still spends good and I work in the food service industry. Indiana because I would like to see another ABA team win the finals. Of course I would like it to go to 7 games.
At this point, I'd like to see anyone but the Heat in the finals. OKC and the Spurs are injured so outside of the Heat, I think that anyone else still in it has a fighting chance to win. Honestly that's something that I like the idea of. I hate these dynasties that build up and then make the playoffs so boring to watch.
I'd love to see a Warriors Pacers matchup in the finals, but I'd also be cool with the Grizzlies/OKC vs Pacers or OKC/Knicks or even Warriors/Grizzlies vs Bulls.
I really haven't paid much attention to the playoffs since leading up to them I was expecting another easy Heat run to the finals. I also lost a little interest when my backup team got knocked out (LAC).
I really just have an incredible dislike for the Heat right now and I can't see anyone actually liking that team. It's so boring to watch games where it's such an awful lopsided match-up talent wise. The point of the playoffs is to watch these intense close games where both teams are clawing to the top, not to watch one team acquire x+2 more superstars than every other team has and just run over everyone.
Spurs take G1 with ease. Memphis was so obsessed with pick-and-roll defence that they left the shooters wide open. Spot-up shooters that was. Ginobili and Neal are the only Spurs that take long-range shots of the dribble.
Z-Bo 1/8. That wasn't very good.
Next games will be closer, since I don't see the Spurs playing better and Memphis has lots to improve.
If Chicago can win a game against Miami, so can Indiana.

Memphis seems completely outclassed by San Antonio. The same goes for Indiana in regard to Miami. If either series goes past 5 games I'll be surprised. Memphis maybe wins 2, but even that seems doubtful to me. San Antonio is just firing on all cylinders, just like they always do in the playoffs.
I don't see any of the remaining teams beating Miami either.
Yeah, I definitely agree. As long as Miami still plays excellent team defense like they have throughout the playoffs they will have success against their opponents.
Nobody in the league would beat that 2nd/3rd quarter Heat team.
I want to say Miami in 6, but I don't think the Spurs will allow it to be closed out in San Antonio outside of some jarring injury, so Miami in 7. Battier may even get minutes!
You were totally correct with everything you said. Nice. Miami won in 7 games and Battier definitely got big minutes. So I guess we are seeing them winning next year too.

Fix:
I'd trade Bosh and a pick for Dwight Howard.
Lakers want a guy who can spread the floor badly
Heat are desperate for rebounding help
Win win for both teams.
Get rid of Spo and have Riley coach again.

East is now that much less competitive than it already was.

I am making this post to activate my prophet powers.
Beware the bear!
Memphis has a chance to write NBA-history by coming back from a 3-0.
But they might lack some scoring to do this. JJ Reddick could be a nice addition.
