Just got a reminder of why I hate solo queue 3s. Team wants to target Nami and completely ignore the Xin Zhao that destroys the whole team before they even get to her. Course this whole snowball of hell is set off when the enemy team constantly tower dives us and me and Elise are fighting them 2v3 while olaf stands way back throwing Axes. Apparently that's all he suppose to do in team fights >.<
trying to do few ranked games, those thing happend:
*enemy team 4 gold player, our team im the only 1, rest unranked, won my lane, team screws up everyteam fight.
*our adc 0/7/8.
*rage during champion select...
Don't even know what to do next honestly, maybe duo que with friend but this is just unbelievable.
I tried Sona for a game. I think I did ok. I did take 3 kills. But it didn't really matter, we won pretty handily, our vayne didn't do to great and my 3/3/15+ was better than her 3/6/5. Brand went like 9/2 at one point and just carried.
Her ult feels soooooooo good. Every time I got 3-5 people I was like
We got jumped in a 3 vs 4, I ult, brand ults and pyroclasm then vayne and him go out against the 4 guys at 30% hp.
My last 4 games now include two 12+ kill losses as ADC - a 15/6 in which our mid and top were crushed so badly that I had 15 of my team's 21 kills while the other team finished at 45 (!) kills, and another where top was crushed and I finished 12/5 of our team's 25 kills.
I would take these as learning experiences (learn to carry) but I think they were just unlucky/uncarryable games. Not gonna carry a game on a team of fed Tristana (me), Lulu, Elise, Nidalee, Morgana, against fed Akali, fed Lee Sin and fed Talon.
Woo.
On the bright side, I won my first ranked support game of the season because I happened to get paired up with some players who did really well (I did very mediocre - some good things and some silly mistakes, I definitely didn't win it for us).
EDIT: TheEndIsNear - I play MF as my top choice of ADC (also Vayne, Caitlyn, Tristana, Ashe, Graves, Varus, but MF is my choice in blind pick games), and there's not much I like more than playing with a good Sona support - you catch 3 in your ult, I ult on top of it, TRIPLE KILL!
I used to be a big fan of Sona but her heal got nerfed a lot. I've been supporting with Nami mostly and she rules. A better heal, her ult is similar to Sona's, and I really really love her E it's a huge boost for the ADC. Not as easy to play but not hard.
Sona's not much of a healer, but her harass is amazing. You don't pick her to outsustain your opponent, you pick her to get them super low and drive them out of lane repeatedly.

She has probably one of the greatest harass for a support that was meant to be a support. This is why she is consistently chosen through all elos and why she was nerfed repeatedly. The numbers speak for themselves too, on LoLking, she has a 10% higher win rate than Nami.
Well, I'm just speaking from my own experiences. I admit I'm spoiled by how Sona was. I'm also not that good . When I want to be an aggro support I like Nunu.

Nami's heal is more powerful, but it takes up a ****load of mana too. Without actually looking at the numbers, I assume it's much less efficient when it only hits one person.
But when it hits 3, yea it's pretty ridiculous. I've gotten a couple double kills in teamfights with it.

"Virtue, Jacques, is an excellent thing. Both good people and wicked people speak highly of it..."
Her W is what initially attracted me to her. It's her E that makes me love her so much, though. I don't really have mana problems with her so far.
She's the only support I have mana problems with early game, only if I have to do more healing than I should though. Without having to use w a lot it's fine.
Her E is her lamest ability though.

clearly nami is better than sona because her heal does damage like Q, heals liike W and increases movement speed like E! Three skills -> one skill.
While I would say Sona is a better over all support Nami does counter Sona in the support lane. This is mainly due to when Sona comes to poke, Nami pokes back and by the time the spells resolves Sona has taken damage and all damage Nami took has been healed by the time her spell gets back to her.
It really changes up the lane for the Sona player and that may be one of the few, if not the only, match-up in which I might recommend leveling W first for Sona over her Q and E.
Are there any good junglers (1400+) in this thread that can help me out, maybe play a couple games with me and show me the ropes on dealing with counter jungling/ initiate counter jungling on the enemy?

On counter jungling: When the enemy jungler ganks, get in and steal something and get out fast
On countering counter jungling: Wards so that your teammates can help you deal with the enemy jungler while you're ganking for another lane

You also need knowledge of the relative strengths of the junglers and the champions nearest the incident area.
For instance, if you're (top side) and wanting to invade their red after doing your own blue, you need to know these things:
1. enemy jungling speed and health at time of arrival to red
2. positions of mids and bot (champions of both sides)
3. your strength vs. enemy jungler's strength
4. relative strengths of mid and bot
Strengths should be considered both absolutely (which side has the better fight all things equal) and at the time of invasion (typically which side has more health/mana, experience, cooldowns).

Sona also has passive auras which can't be understated. They aren't flashy but they do add a lot of passive power to her kit. Sona is a very strong poking champion and her ultimate is instant as opposed to travel distance based like Nami.
Sona's ultimate, even though it covers a smaller area, is a lot stronger than Nami's by virtue of being instant. It means her teamfight initiation is substantially stronger.

Even if the author is silenced, the performance is stopped, the story will not end.
Whether it's a comedy or a tragedy, if there is cheering, the story will continue on.
Just like the many lives.
For the us who are still in it and still in the journey, send warm blessings.

Nami's team fight innitiation is in her Q not her ult. Her ult, because of it's cast time and slow moving travel time, is something you would want to use as a disruption once team fight breaks out instead of trying to innitate with it in which case most teams will just out run it.

Wut...Why would either Nami or Sona initiate? Both would get instagibbed and it would be an incredible waste of a champion to just press R and then die.
Leave the initiation to tanks like Malphite or Amumu. Sona and Nami can easily follow up from behind
