Dittos only seem to work up until a certain point in the game. Right now i have 2 boxes full of 5iv leveld mons for battles. At this point i have access to almost every egg group so i do not need a ditto. When i made my lucario i bred it with alakazam to get all the correct ivs. Its pretty sweet how they did this it makes breeding a lot less tedious compared to older games from what i have read.
I may try again sooner or later. I just have a tendancy to get bored and frustrated after a wile.
@Viroid I knew you got them from super secret training but I didn't know about the other one. Thanks.
Yeah breeding can be really annoying/frustrating. I suggest you research exactly what you want so you dont end up making a good mon only to find out that it needed a hidden ability/egg move etc. I tried breeding a cottonee and after 4 batches they all had infiltrator instead of prankster, i asked around and they are both normal abilities not hidden so i should have hatched at least 1. I stopped after that i will go back this weekend or some time.

Yeah I've spent a lot of time just breeding into the natures, moves and abilities I wanted. I still have like 2 boxes worth or pokes I need to check for the abilities i want before I start breeding moves down onto them. What drives me crazy is when they learn a move in the daycare that replaces a move you wanted to keep. I mean its not hard to get heart scales. Its just annoying to have to go find them and reteach a move.
Yeah it gets really annoying when trying ot bread a mon that needs 3-4 egg moves. I did it and its pretty annoying.
Yeah. A few weeks ago I was trying to breed a shelder that had rapid spin, aqua ring, rock blash and icicle spear. It took forever to get one and even then I had to have one shelder with two of the moves and another with the other two before it would pass all 4 down.
Nice i had no clue about those builds but i could have given you a 4iv that had icicle spear/rock blast to speed up the process. What is aqua ring used for?
Anyone collect shinys? Last night ev training i ran into a horde that had a shiny vanillite in it, caught it and then the next horde had the same thing. So i have to up for trade if anyone wants.

I believe I got the origional shelder I had with icicle spear and rock blast from you. I threw rapid spin on it so it could fill that role ina team if needed leaving me with an open slot. I just wanted to see if the hp regen off aqua ring would be worth the slot, and I don't think he can get recover. I don't know how well it will work or not but if not I can always replace it with something like ice shard.
Not bad the one i have i use as a sweeper not utility etc.
skill link (i think adamant) kings rock
252 atk/252 speed/4 hp
icicle spear
ice shard
rock blast
shell smash
acts as a great late game sweeper especially with all the dragons running around. you can flinch lock on a few occasions. Im not sure if kings rock is better than the BP item razor claw i think its called.
Yea mine probably isn't the best build possible. I was planning on using kings rock as well, but from what I just read on serebii razor fang is an 11.7% and kings rock is only 10%.
Helix: What setup are you using on your Cottonee? I got one off GTS that has Encore, Memento, Fake Tears and Switcheroo. I'm definitely keeping Encore, not sure about the rest. I wish I could have Knockoff but...stupid Bw/W2 move tutors...(geez there's like a thousand of them. I wish X/Y had access to good move tutors like that :/)
Does anyone know that harvest/substitute trevanant build people seem to be using? I've seen a few used online and from what I can remember. Run substitute and curse but I don't remember the other 2 moves, what berry they use and evs.
Don't know if anyone brought this up earlier in the thread but was there a pokemon that you wish got an evolution or mega that didn't. I'm still hoping that marrowak gets a evolution someday.

I wanted a prankster build with soemthing like leech seed/gigadrain/ stunspore/taunt or something.
Right now im breeding vulaby's with both foul play/knock off if anyone wants one i can ship them out when iget up to 4ivs.
Killing myself to try to get more evolutionary stones. Beyond Inver and Super Training, is there another way to pull those? I keep getting Soda Pops and Hard Stones from Super Training.
So. I love me some shiftry and I want to do something with it. So I'm tring to get something of a core going with these two:
Shiftry @ life orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
nature: naive (ran out of patience for getting a modest one)
IVs: 4 def / 252 sp att / 252 spd
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Leaf Storm
- Defog
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Solar Power
Nature: not set yet, probably also a speed boosting one
IVs: 4 def / 252 spa / 252 spd
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Air Slash
The idea is that Shiftry isn't weak to any hazard and can clear them with a defog, which means that charizard can come in pretty easily, mega-evolve and start slamming pokes around. The seem to complement each other a bit too, as Charizard is able to nail most threats to Shiftry and vice versa.
I need a second sun setter, but not Ninetales because Ewwww Ninetales.
Now, Heatran is a major problem I think, as is Azumarill when the sun isn't up.
I'm open for a lot of suggestions concerning support pokemon, but I do love to use slightly underrated pokemon (underused tier of smogon so to say).
Edit: HAHA just noticed I got a pokerus carrying Solar Power charmander with 4 IVs and chock full of egg moves from a mystery trade. It's a good day to start working on that charizard.

Subseed Eggsecutor with harvest. You're already running a sun list, might as well drop in the coconut tree that's been outclassed by trevenant. Leech Seed, Substitute, Psychic, Protect/Toxic. Make it happen!
As far as setting sunny day, apparently Magnemite/its evolutions can learn sunny day and volt switch, so I guess that means it could be used to set things up. Probably not the best way to use a Magnezone, but I think it would be hilarious.

The problem I have with Seed and Stun Spore is they got worse this gen. I guess maybe Giga Drain. I just hate having a Pokemon that can't win a battle on it's own.

Pre-Bank Gen 6 Analyses
Most Trevenant are
Trevenant@Sitrus Berry
Impish / Harvest
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Phantom Force
- Will-o'-wisp
252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spe
I personally run a Careful Trevenant, same spread.
I like that build think I'll try it out. I'm not enirely sold on phantom force though I hate those two turn moves. I'll try it out though.
