Zelderex's poem this week was very impressive. Natural imagery will always get me going, and the frustration expressed is very applicable. Political Graffiti was a close second for me, as I'm fond of its almost animistic perspective and concise neatness. Honourable mention to Dead Heroes in Little Cupboards as I thought the cooking theme was interesting.
Did they remove the option to see who voted for what? Hopefully it's still available for poll starters, because otherwise it gets hard to enforce voting rules (not that many Hosts have ever had many problems with them).
Anyway, voted for Preve. I just loved the rhythm and phrasing, my mind was just kinda drawn across words and ideas, those ugly rolling phrases like "latticework bleeding structures" flowed in a way that, at least to me, reflected that idea of an end being inviting; as though it were an ending as natural and immediate as the next word in a rhyme, or as alliteration off the tongue.
I can't even see the options as the mod of the subforum. I'm going to go test some stuff and report back.
EDIT: Seems to be unavailable to anyone for now, unfortunately. For now, I guess we should just clearly state who we voted for as most of us do already.
i can see the poll now! it might even work for everyone! ... also, zelderex, thank you. that was the goal! awesome to hear it worked on somebody.
also i changed my name again.
sorry.
talore gets first, and selesnya gets second. zelderex, you get a third. i almost voted for you as second but then realized it was just because of your review. nothing hit me exactly right but talore's was the closest to it.
my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan

EDIT: I just want to add that my submission was titled 'Putz' on vBulletin, but it seems like we lost post titles on Cobalt.
