Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
Isn't this nearly better than Cytoshape? You trade "Instant" for the ability to turn any permanent into a creature, and it can nuke someone's Legend and a non-creature they control in one go.
Flesh could cost 3GU and still be exciting/interesting. Or add the non-Legendary clause.
Blood seems a bit fair once you consider its comparable to Innocent Blood and oyu are paying 2G to gain a bit of life.

Name doesn't make sense for half of it, should have been instant speed on the left side. Blood is alright, though over priced for the effect. Could have easily been a GB card and never looked back. the other could have been a GU card, instant speed and found a home in a few decks.
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

Overall, meh.
First of all, being a split card gives it flexibility, necessitating that most often the price of both sides effects is a bit pricier than if it was just one card.
Secondly, if Flesh had been an instant for GU it would have been straight insane, due in no small part to the aforementioned 2 for 1 of legends and the like. Compare to Cytoshape, a card which saw modest constructed play.
If Blood had cost just GB, it too would have been wickedly strong. Compare to the already strong Innocent Blood.

Blood is good? Sure go wild and gain five to twenty-five life in multiplayer; lots of marginal cards are stronger in multiplayer. Four mana for a edict effect is expensive, a two color symmetrical one at that.
Flesh could easily have been an instant.
Flesh is a little over costed and blood is a lot undercosted, but this is surely the best MTGSYMTC turned out in a long time.
EDIT: My actual approval for this card doesn't come through strong enough. Really, pat yourselves on the back, netizens. I'm going to look into how this went so well, methinks.

No, I'm not. I don't feel they are aggressively costed enough.
Flesh turns their plains into a copy of Geist, costing them their degenerate beater *and* a land. So... non-targeting Terror + Stone Rain for 1UG in the current meta. And you say not aggressive enough?

I second this.
Flesh//Blood will find a home in EVERY EDH deck of those colors. Flesh kills Legendary creatures no-problem, or gives you an extra beatstick for 3 mana, which is good. As for Blood, the life gain adds lots of flexibility in what you are choosing to sac.

I like it.
Is it supposed to be a rare? As an uncommon I think it's perfect. At rare it's a bit overcosted on the Blood side, imo. Also flesh would have been too strong as an instant without a non-legendary clause as an uncommon. Over all at uncommon I think it's wonderful.

I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
Lol misread blood so hard thought it was the most busted sweeper of all time... Sac everything and let me heal please. But I agree about the art it doesn't have the Magic Feel to it and the colors seem off.. But I really do enjoy seeing the community made cards to keep it up guys

Here's how we made Flesh and Blood:
The next YMTC is up! See here for name submissions!
And Blood seems too aggressively costed for a split card, IMHO.

Also, I feel like maybe it should be restricted to creatures you control, to avoid the aforementioned legendary two for one.
