Only really playable competitively in large multiplayer games. A really narrow color usability. Otherwise fun, but inefficient. Not my favorite mechanic but there's to admit it has not been done before, and that's certainly good.
Anyway, the card is strictly a casual multiplayer card, but that's not really a downside. It's fun, it's balanced, its good enough to be good but bad enough to be bad. I'd say we did a good job on this one.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
What an elequent way to slap your opponent in the face for playing correctly in Multiplayer.

Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.
So, how does it work with copyright? Because I believe I've seen art that I already saw somewhere else on the web?

The element of randomness - specifically the fact that this card could have an amazingly powerful effect, or do absolutely nothing - is very much red's territory. Also, the effect is rather unique and quirky, which feels like a good fit for a 3-color card as opposed to just sticking with UB.

The Golden Rule of forums: If you're going to be rude, be right. If you might be wrong, be polite.
Yeah. You can print it with normal paper and then put it inside a card protector over a common and you can play it as if it were a normal card (if the opponent agrees and it's strictly casual).
Well... getting an opponent's creature from his hand is a lot worse than gaining control of it from the board (as he lost tempo and mana in the second case in addition to the card itself). Not to mention here you're not even choosing the creature (admitting it is one in the first place even). So, for 4 mana in 3 different colors, you have a card that in the very best of scenarios does something vastly inferior to a Control Magic (admittedly a good card, but with a far easier mana requirement) ?
The card only starts being worth to be casted for 2UGR, when you're at least sure to get some card advantage from it (at this point it's an overcosted hymn to tourach). Thing is, most creature decks will have already laid out a good chunk of their threats at that point. On the upside, the creatures that might still be in his hand are going to be the biggest ones, but it's still a "might".
Point is, the card is nowhere near broken. It's probably not really much more than barely playable in any competitive format. It's certainly a lot better in casual formats though, where fatties tend to be much more common, but in any case, its limitations stay obvious.
A very balanced and interesting, plausible card indeed.
You're telling me that grixis control would not become a powerhouse if they had this? Sorry, but this is no where near balanced. You don't want to play your creatures because you're playing around counterspells then all of your creatures get stripped from your hand and given to your opponent, yeah, that's even remotely fair.
Should have been an Instant at such a prohibitive cost. Other than that, this is one of the most awesome and creative cards of the month in a long time. Good job, guys!
Yeah, the basics is not far away from that (I hadn't seen that card), but nonetheless the "random reveal" makes it different, combined with X, all opponents, and effect does not end at end of turn. Combined with colors, it makes it a pretty unique card.
I wouldn't even say borderline playable, it seems just straight unplayable in standard (and even more so in old formats). The fact that it's possible to cast this and get absolutely nothing for 4 or 5 mana, plus the fact that it would be dead so often (if the red deck just plays all its guys, or against a mono-spells control deck) seem to suggest this would see no play. Not to mention the creatures a control deck wants to have in play are different from those the aggro player wants; this wouldn't have any viable home.
That's not to hate on the card at all btw, it's a sweet design for casual
