How does this card-making game work? It's simple! Whenever your card receives a vote in the day's poll, you receive [1] point for the month. If your card ends up with the most votes for that day, you will receive [2] additional points for the month. In the event of a tie, each person who tied receives [1] additional point. At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the scoreboard wins that month, then the scoreboard is cleared for the next month. You can participate in as many or as few days as you want in any month.
Rules
Each day you may post any card you want. On the next day all of the posted cards will be put into a poll the thread as long as your card didn't get disqualified - see the next point for more details. If you post more than one card in a DCC thread, only the first card you post will be taken.
When you vote, you need to make exactly two votes for two different people. Vote for the cards that are listed in the first post, not other cards being posted in the thread. If you notice that you've only voted for one person, include your second vote in a post, even if you're not submitting a card.
If you want to change your vote for any reason, post that change in the day's thread (you can include it with your card if you want). Changed votes in the discussion thread will be ignored.
Voting for only one person, for three or more people, or for yourself will earn you an asterisk by your name in the monthly leaderboard. So will failing to vote if you've posted a card. (We're not going to do anything about people who don't vote or post cards; that would be kind of silly.) This indicates that you're on probation for the next 21 days. If you're on probation and you make another improper vote, your card will be disqualified. Repeated disqualification is grounds for warnings and/or infractions for not following the game rules, so please don't do it.
Voting for everything in the poll will be grounds for a lifetime ban from the DCC. Don't do it. It just wastes the thread creators' time.
If you wish to post a render, please use the hyperlink option when posting your card and make the card name the image link. Renders are usually large enough to clog up the list, so submit a text-formed card and (optionally) a link in the name to the render.
This thread is just for your card submission. Take your questions/comments to our discussion thread. If it's a question, comment, or complaint about probation, PM me instead and I'll explain it.
Anyone can post the new thread for the day. When you post it, make sure that:
You have a poll in the thread;
You include everyone's cards (excluding cards that have been disqualified);
The poll is marked as public and multiple choice with a one-day time limit; and
You update the leaderboard with the previous day's scores.
(An easy way to post the new thread is to hit the multiquote button on every post in the previous day's thread, then click Post Reply. Select everything in this post, copy it, and then paste it into the first post for a new thread. You'll have to clean up a few small things, like quote tags around the opening post and the previous day's cards.)
Notes of the Day
Ahhh. Things have finally slowed back down for me for a bit.
Insidious Parasite1B
Creature — Worm (U)
If one or more counters would be placed on a permanent an opponent controls, that many of those counters minus one are placed on that permanent instead.
2/1
Stern Administrator1W
Creature - Human Advisor (R)
Each player cannot activate abilities of cards if the total mana cost of that activation is greater than the converted mana cost of the card.
2/2
Impart YouthU
Sorcery (R)
Target creature or planeswalker becomes a 1/1 colorless creature and loses all abilities. Then, remove all counters from that creature. Exile Impart Youth. "Blood, soul, void, and time. These are the branches of magic my people excel in. So now, my little chiropteran friend, which of these do you think I'll be using to cure you of your homicidal fanaticism?" -Capp Valner to Felich Gaiar

Land (R) t: Add 1 to your mana pool. 2, t: Starting with you, each player chooses a permanent he or she controls. Then, you may exchange control of the permanents chosen by you and target opponent. One man's trash is probably also another man's trash.
God-Pharaoh's GardenerGG
Creature - Zombie (Rare) T: Untap target land. 3, t: Search your library for a land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library. To tend the gardens of the God-Pharaoh's palace is one of the greatest honors. 2/2

Abbatial CharmWWW
Instant (R)
Return target creature card with converted mana cost 4 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. Then choose one -
It gains lifelink and indestructible.
It deals damage equal to its power to target attacking, blocking, or tapped creature.
Search your library for a card with the same name, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
This is the second card of a charm cycle I'm creating. I'm using this cycle to take the opportunity to explore the design space of the heavily monocolor. In particular, I'm trying to design strong rewards for restricting deck building to one color, and also exploring how a heavy monocolor-investment can deepen and augment a color's capabilities.
Regarding this particular card, I'm struggling between a CMC 3 and CMC 4 restriction and between putting the card with the same name into your hand or onto the battlefield. Instant-speed Resurrection is too strong an effect, so some level of limitation is necessary. I'm leaning towards CMC 4 and put into hand or CMC 3 and put onto battlefield. Which do y'all prefer? Also open to other potent effects.
Druidic CharmGGG
Instant (R)
Target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn. Then choose one -
It deals damage equal to its power to another target creature.
Gain life equal to its toughness.
Add an amount of G to your mana pool equal to its power. Until end of turn, this mana doesn't empty from your mana pool as steps and phases end.
Hidden Armageddon2G
Enchantment (R)
When a planeswalker enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, if Hidden Armageddon is an enchantment, Hidden Armageddon becomes a 10/10 Hydra creature with "You may have this creature assign its combat damage as though it weren't blocked."

Legendary Creature - Frog Mutant (R)
When ~ enters the battlefield and at the beginning of your upkeep, you may create a token that's a copy of another target creature except it's a green and blue Frog in addition to its other colors and types and has base power and toughness 3/3. Long proclaimed dead, he resides in the Undercity, attended to by his own creations. 5/7
Hephela, Archequeen of PerthBGW
Legendary Creature - Elf Shaman (M)
Zombies you control have haste.
Elves in your graveyard have embalm. The embalm cost is equal to their mana cost.
Pay 2 life, T, Sacrifice a non-token elf creature: Search your library for an elf creature card with converted mana cost of X or less, where X equals 1 plus the sacrificed creature's converted mana cost, put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
2/4
Boggart Flinger2BR
Creature — Goblin Warrior (U)
Menace (B/R), Sacrifice a creature: Boggart Flinger deals 1 damage to target creature or player. If the sacrificed creature dealt combat damage to a player this turn, Boggart Flinger deals 3 damage to target creature or player instead. "Hit 'em while it hurts, you know?"
3/3
Nightstalker3BB
Creature - Vampire Horror [rare]
Flying, lifelink
Nightstalker costs 2 less to cast if there were no spells cast last turn.
At the end of each turn, if two or more spells were cast this turn, return Nightstalker to its owner's hand. "Exit light, enter Night"

Sorry. This ended up being a longer ramble than I initially intended, but I don't want to take the time to go back through it to make it more concise.
I really love the idea of this cycle. I really like the fact that they have a set ability that feeds into their modal abilities. That said, here's a few thoughts. In the first ability, I assume the effect lasts indefinitely? If so, there are memory issues there. The second ability seems like it should be green or red, but the fact that it only hits attacking, blocking, or tapped creatures does make it seem ok in white. I suppose it's possible that there is already a white card that does this that I'm not thinking of, so I have no real problems with the middle ability. Although it is pretty similar to an effect on your green card in the cycle. The last ability also seems green to me. Searching your library for a creature is pretty much always a green ability, although there have been a couple of cards that have seen white do this over the years. In all, I really like the card, although I would make a few adjustments. Perhaps exchange the lifelink in the first ability for a +1/+1 counter to help with the memory issues? You could actually get away with keeping the second two abilities (regardless of a bit of color bend), but I would change the green card's ability to fight to further differentiate it from the white card's second ability. I think 3 CMC is fine, and I would have the creature go to hand, not to the battlefield. Getting two instant speed creatures is pretty strong. It can be a 4 creature swing if you can cast this as a well timed combat trick.

Flatline: How has this not been done before? Brilliant simplicity. Satisfying flavor. JamBlock: I love this ability a lot, but: Permanents aren't cards while they're on the battlefield, "total mana cost" isn't supported terminology, "cards" is a general term while "the card" is specific. I spent some time trying to optimize the templating here. What do you think? "Activation costs of each permanent can't be paid if that permanent has a lower converted mana cost." Shukkets: This is 1-mana creature or planeswalker removal with a tolerable drawback. That's just too good for any format... right? netn10: Nothing groundbreaking here, but still solid, fun design. In limited I'd draft this every time, but in eternal formats, it could potentially cause some unintended behavior. kjsharp: You have my private impressions of this, but I'll say again here that it's just my perception of the white bend in the 3rd mode that I'd change. Great design, and good rewards for the dedicated white mage. I'm seriously digging this cycle. Can't wait to see the others. Tim1137: Seems fine. Much like Flatline, it's weird this hasn't been printed yet. I can't help but notice that this makes Yawgmoth's Bargain EXPONENTIALLY MORE DEGENERATE, but that ain't hard to do. Plus, it's banned almost everywhere. EDIT: Now I'm not entirely sure what happens when the life loss from a life payment is replaced by the life total "becoming" the current life total. Someone less likely to pass out at any moment clear this up! void_nothing: Urza Block's wet dream. Geez, man this is nuts. Unplayable in limited, unplayable in the majority of eternal matchups. Possibly OK sideboard card in some Standard environments. But wow, when this is good, it's oppressive. scrad: Well dang. What a wasted opportunity to combine Force Spike and Runechanter's Pike. Still, it's solid, simple design. Another "this hasn't been printed yet?" soramaro: This hasn't been printed y*shot* (I effing love the ridiculosity of this thing, bee tee dubs) entombedhydra: Wow. Elfpod. I wanna say this is too good, but I'm even more deliriously sleepy than when I began. The flavor is sooo good, and there's tons of fun stuff to do with this. The restrictive mana cost and the "pay 2 life" clause might balance out how degenerate things could get. I'm on the fence about printability on this one. StonerOfKruphix: So, half a Barrage Tyrant stapled to a Goblin Bombardment. OK then! I can dig it, but my gut says the costs are somewhat wonky. a single hybrid mana seems too cheap, even given the CMC4 mana cost. Forestguy: You might as well have made him a "Vampire Werewolf" lol!
