How does this card-making game work? It's simple! Whenever your card receives a vote in the day's poll, you receive [1] point for the month. If your card ends up with the most votes for that day, you will receive [2] additional points for the month. In the event of a tie, each person who tied receives [1] additional point. At the end of each month, the person with the most points on the scoreboard wins that month, then the scoreboard is cleared for the next month. You can participate in as many or as few days as you want in any month.
Rules
Each day you may post any card you want. On the next day all of the posted cards will be put into a poll the thread as long as your card didn't get disqualified - see the next point for more details. If you post more than one card in a DCC thread, only the first card you post will be taken.
When you vote, you need to make exactly two votes for two different people. Vote for the cards that are listed in the first post, not other cards being posted in the thread. If you notice that you've only voted for one person, include your second vote in a post, even if you're not submitting a card.
If you want to change your vote for any reason, post that change in the day's thread (you can include it with your card if you want). Changed votes in the discussion thread will be ignored.
Voting for only one person, for three or more people, or for yourself will earn you an asterisk by your name in the monthly leaderboard. So will failing to vote if you've posted a card. (We're not going to do anything about people who don't vote or post cards; that would be kind of silly.) This indicates that you're on probation for the next 21 days. If you're on probation and you make another improper vote, your card will be disqualified. Repeated disqualification is grounds for warnings and/or infractions for not following the game rules, so please don't do it.
Voting for everything in the poll will be grounds for a lifetime ban from the DCC. Don't do it. It just wastes the thread creators' time.
If you wish to post a render, please use the hyperlink option when posting your card and make the card name the image link. Renders are usually large enough to clog up the list, so submit a text-formed card and (optionally) a link in the name to the render.
This thread is just for your card submission. Take your questions/comments to our discussion thread. If it's a question, comment, or complaint about probation, PM me instead and I'll explain it.
Anyone can post the new thread for the day. When you post it, make sure that:
You have a poll in the thread;
You include everyone's cards (excluding cards that have been disqualified);
The poll is marked as public and multiple choice with a one-day time limit; and
You update the leaderboard with the previous day's scores.
(An easy way to post the new thread is to hit the multiquote button on every post in the previous day's thread, then click Post Reply. Select everything in this post, copy it, and then paste it into the first post for a new thread. You'll have to clean up a few small things, like quote tags around the opening post and the previous day's cards.)
Beggar's Fortune2R
Sorcery (U)
Discard any number of cards, then reveal that many cards from the top of your library. You may put an artifact card from among them onto the battlefield. "It has to be somewhere!"
Congrats to Sagharri. I feel like you should have won this thing a long time ago.
Spellspark Phoenix
Creature — Phoenix (R)
As an additional cost to cast Spellspark Phoenix, exile two instant and/or sorcery cards from your graveyard.
Flying, haste
You may cast Spellspark Phoenix from your graveyard.
3/2
Flatline & kjsharp
HM: Shukkets (All three were pretty even. Count this as an unofficial vote for yourself.)
Unfavorable TermsBB
Enchantment — Aura (R)
Enchant creature an opponent owns
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1, gains flying, and is a demon in addition to its other types.
At the beginning of enchanted creature's controller's upkeep, if you don't control enchanted creature, gain control of it unless that player pays 2 life.
Lava Pillar2RR
Sorcery (U)
Lava Pillar deals 2 damage to target creature.
Cycling 2R(2R, Discard this card: Draw a card.)
When Lava Pillar is put into your graveyard from anywhere, it deals 2 damage to target creature.
LightbatherW
Creature -- Kor Cleric (R)
Whenever an Aura enters the battlefield attached to another creature, you may pay 1. If you do, create a token that's a copy of that Aura attached to Lightbather.
1/2
Gideon, Steadfast Leader
Legendary Creature - Gideon (MR)
If you control a Gideon Planeswalker, Sacrifice Gideon, Steadfast Leader.
Indestructible, Vigilance
All creatures you control gain +1/+1 and vigilance
If Gideon, Steadfast Leader is put into the graveyard or exile from the battlefield, return him to your hand during your next upkeep.
4/4
9/10 commander players would hate this card, the one commander player remaining deserves a cookie:
The Betrayer
Legendary Creature - Avatar (Mythic)
Haste Join forces - Starting with you, each player may pay any amount of mana. Put X +1/+1 counters on The Betrayer, where X is the total amount of mana paid this way.
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player gains control of The Betrayer, then untaps it.
1/1
Elkin Efreet2RR
Creature - Efreet (M)
Flying
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile a card at random from your graveyard. Until your next turn, you may play that card. Futilely he attempts to escape the Elkin Lair, knowing not what he would do if he ever got out.
3/2
Loreli's Pet6BB
Creature - Zombie Chimera (u) Gruesome Assembly - You may exile a Shimmerscale Drake, Wasteland Scorpion, and Desert Cerodon from your graveyard rather than pay Loreli's Pet's mana cost.
Flying, Deathtouch --Death eludes us all, but some have it worse than others.--
6/4
Target a spell.
The spell's controller must pay one of these costs.
Pay 1 mana.
Sacrifice a creature.
Exile a spell you control.
Exile the top three cards of each opponent's library l, then put those cards in that player's hand.
Lose the game.
Mana Denial2BRG
Sorcery (R)
Tap all lands your opponents control. They don't untap during their controller's next untap step. Then each opponent loses X life, where X is equal to the number of lands he or she controls. Jund mages don't know the meaning of the word "subtlety".
Mind Tax1UU
Enchantment - Aura Curse (R)
Enchant Player.
At the beginning of enchanted player's upkeep, that player reveals two cards from his or her hand. Exile one of them. For as long as that card remains exiled, its owner may pay 2 to return it to his or her hand. "A bad memory, you say? Why, you'll forget even that soon enough." - Jace Beleren
I cannot be the only one who hates these overpowered Atraxa decks.
Gatewatch's Downfall2BR
Sorcery
Destroy all creatures and all planeswalkers. The gatewatch knew of Bolas' vast intellect and cunning. Now they know it pales in comparison to his hate and fury.
Surprise Immortal2BR

Another card in the same enemy-colored "cycle" of my favorite combat trick, Ride Down.
Hyper-Reactive DefensesUR
Instant (U)
The next time a spell or ability would deal damage to you and/or permanents you control, instead it deals up to 4 of that damage, divided as you choose, to its controller and/or any number of target creatures that player controls. Quarreling wizards would do well to remember that the most devastating spells are often the most easily sabotaged.
Crippling ClericRW

I suspect that Bontu's Last Reckoning is the first of a cycle depicting all of the gods "exerting", and thereby making you the player "exert," like Amonkhet creatures.
God-Pharaoh's Gaze3UU
Enchantment - Aura (R)
Enchant creature or planeswalker
You control enchanted permanent.
Whenever you cast a Bolas planeswalker spell, you may return God-Pharaoh's Gaze from your graveyard to your hand.
