I'll post any cards/other art-related stuff here. Feel free to comment on anything....
I just started making cards in photoshop so they're not professional or anything, but this is a starting point. I know many things are wrong (like the mana symbol), but other details are helpful.

Well, its evident that orangade is the better drink for this joke. God. Anyways is it wierd when I first started playing I made a card called Circle of Protection: Lemmon?
Alright, everything SorryGuy mentioned is right, although I can't see the DCI symbol so it might be that he's wrong about that and it doesn't exist :p. Also, your expansion symbol looks odd; I'd reccomend using photoshop's vector editing to create it, rather than using raster editing, and size that down. Finally, the leading for the flavor text (the space between ability and flavor text) is very off.
All in all, though, great job at a first attempt :).
EDIT
I found the DCI symbol! After ramping up the contrast and ramping down the brightness, the following appeared:
-The expansion symbol was made in mtgeditor because I'm too lazy to make it in photoshop. But what is vector editing?
Vector editing is a type of graphics work that, instead of using pixels as data, uses lines (vectors) and curves. This means that you can resize a vector image to any size without causing loss of resolution. Photoshop happily accomidates this; play around with shapes and especially the pen tool.
-The artist should be the right size, I got it off the template from MiseTings.
Could just be that it looks wrong without the reminder text.
-Copyright information is unreadable at that size.
Nevertheless, the card looks sorrowfully wrong without it. See above. I include it no matter what the resolution I'm planning to make the card.
I love the Kore symbol. Seriously, that's fantastic.
I agree with Nex about just about everything. The card needs copyright information or it just will not look right. I also think the Kore Logo looks very nice.
Same advice from the previous two cards :p. Fogatog pretty much covered it. Also, the text size should be larger, and the indentation is screwy om the second line of the third ability. Finally, I think you have the coloration of the background to the symbols wrong; black and colorless mana, as well as X and the tap symbol, should have a background of color #cbc2c0. You might have this right, though, it's hard to tell.

How do you get the shadows so they don't look like... shadows? I set it to a 100% opacity but it still doesn't seem right. And I didn't know there was a specific shade of grey you needed, thanks for pointing it out. I just need a ton of minor comments to slowly get better and better.

"If I do go to heaven, I'll smack god across the face and tell him to get me a grilled-cheeses sandwhich and then say 'Yea what now god!? Say some'in! I dare you!' "
Printing is hard. Oasis is right, you need to ramp up the print quality to the highest it can get. Also, make sure you're printer is printing right. In addition, you need to make sure the image you're printing is the right size (there are ways to adjust this in photoshop; you can scale both by pixels and by inches. If you're using the MT frames, print at 300 DPI).
Hmm, I'm not sure about print quality, but I'm printing on thin cardstock, not regular paper. I'm not sure if this makes any real difference since I've used this paper before and could not detect any major flaws. Maybe it's just me?
EDIT: and something new.
please don't flame me, this was one of my first attempts at a card, made in FLASH, not photoshop.
Sorry for double posting, but this is urgent (sorta).
These are both completely based off Bozeema's card template, so he takes full credit for the idea. And my hybrid version as well. These aren't really complete, I still need to add a few things, but you get the idea.

predalex:
The Necromancer looks neat. But the mana cost should be 4BB :wink2:
The Demon... The number 4 should be darker, and it makes the card look too happy in white.
Otherwise, the frames look nice with the images. Props to you both.

-I put the DCI symbol there to see if anyone could actually see it. Next time I'll actually make a visible one :-).
Any comments on my graphic element for the [Kore]?
I love the Kore symbol. Seriously, that's fantastic.
In other news my eyesight is apparntly great!
Another one (using polar bear god's amazing art, thanks!)
[ SHOP | WEEKLY CONTEST ]
I'm going to be gone for the next few weeks due to school and college sign-ups. Be back as soon as possible.

Winner of Weekly Contest Week 39.
It could be that it is too small though. Try that if you want.
But now I've run into a problem. When I print, all the cards are low resolution and the text looks terrible.

Another one. I actually really like the simplicity of it, so I don't have artist/set/copyright.
