As of approximately 2017/8/26, the notification that I've got unread replies to my posts doesn't clear the badge number after I read them. It disappears when I open the notifications menu, but returns on the next page load.
Noticed the same thing. The /my-notifications/mark-as-read endpoint is encountering an error and return code 302, redirecting to /error?aspxerrorpath=/my-notifications/mark-as-read.
