I was hoping for the beta key thread, oh well no biggie, here is what I think anyways.
EDIT AHHHHHH Why is my text so big, this makes no sense to me, I was looking to see if I could cut the spacing between lines down and opened up the format dropdown button but don't think I selected any of them... if this wasn't a beta forum I would delete that part of the post. Fooling around with it I think I can view the markup and delete the sizing parts manually, but I am unable to get text back to normal size any other way. I am just leaving it so you guys can maybe see what happened. ( Feel free to format it to regular size/ tell me to, if this is just me being an idiot.)
The New Content section. It would be nice to limit what new things show up. Forinstance, what if I only care about new commander topics, or just new commander multiplayer decklists, or even just threads I have posted in. It would be nice to have a feature to filter those down a bit.
The Spoilers section looks pretty sloppy at the moment. The set buttons could use borders to make them look more like links. Are these going to link to your inhouse database, and if so, well all the newer sets be listed there? A little cleaner organization might be nice once you all launch.
Speaking of the card section, I want more choices... like gatherer advanced search for choices.... as is I would still use gatherer to do my searching. Also it would be nice there was some FAQ section for this part that explains where you get the prices; as is I probably wouldn't know to trust them.
Everything else .... looks good .... so far, good work!
Right will post again here since there will be no response on the other thread.
- Are the growing pains with the wysiwyg editor what's causing trouble with the formatting of imported posts?
- Is there an option to turn off wysiwyg by default, or will I need to click the [BB] button every time I want to post?

we have a new editor being worked on
What post is haveing formatting issues with the import?
format, there are only a few cards that pop up without clicking on them. Not sure if it's a problem or not but... if it's supposed to be like that for every card that would make card browsing in the trade threads a TON easier.

Keep up the good work guys!
can you link to a thread where that is an issue? all cards should be hoverable - also trade threads will now be in the trade tool http://beta.mtgsalvation.com/trading-post/
My main complaint with the previous imports was that things separated by a single line seemed to have been dumped onto one line. The newest import seems to have fixed that issue (though the spacing still isn't perfect). Didn't notice the new import before I posted, apologies.
The current post editor seems to be handling lines correctly, but when I click quote it brings up a plain text version of a quote, as if all the tags have been stripped out. (Checking random tags.) There are also no code buttons at the moment, which is fine for me but probably not for other people. Ah, I see after previewing this that none of the tags are up and running, so I assume I've come to post while you're fiddling with something back end.
Is the post editor still being worked on? There is no tags bar on top of the textbox, which is disconcerting when typing.
Edit: So typing causes the above to happen, weird thing with the emotes. I had to wrap noparse tags around it in this line just to make it show as text.
The "Upload an Image" "Drop Image to Upload" thing is kind of jarring because it pops up when you hover over the "Upload an Image" button. Furthermore, this pop-up doesn't seem to be able to do anything because it disappears the moment you lift the mouse from the "Upload an Image" button, so it only serves as a really big reminder that that feature exists. The feature itself is fairly narrow as well, which makes the pop-up even more annoying.
I suggest changing it so that clicking the "Upload an Image" button (which currently opens up a folder browser to let you pick a file) instead opens up a drop-down menu with two options: "Browse for Image", which would open up the folder browser like most image upload services, and "Drag and Drop". Clicking "Drag and Drop" causes the Drag and Drop area to open up below the buttons, which stays there for you to drag multiple images in at once. The Drag and Drop area would also have X in the corner to be removed at the user's discretion. Hovering over the "Upload an Image" button would do nothing.
Also, the design of the buttons in the post editor is kind of strange. For instance, the "Preview" button when making a new post or editing an old one is just text, same as with "Cancel" when editing an old post, but "Post Reply"/"Upload an Image"/"Save Changes" are all in blue boxes. I sort of get the difference but it's still a bit jarring that way. I would put both "Preview" and "Cancel" into blue boxes.
Furthermore, in the edit panel, I would keep "Upload an Image" on the left hand side but move "Preview", "Save Changes" and "Cancel" over to the right on the same line - so basically what how its arranged when you make a new post.
-You open up a page to a thread. -After you open up that page, someone else goes ahead and makes a post in that thread. -You make a post.
In this scenario, your post would show up without the page having to refresh. However, the OTHER person's post wouldn't show up for you, not until you refresh the page again. This feels weird.
Currently, on the original site, making a quick reply doesn't cause the page to change/refresh after you made it, much like on the beta. However, any posts that were made after you opened up that page but before you submitted your reply WOULD show up as the page updates along with your latest post. This should be on the beta, although it IS a minor issue.
(I hope to GOD that this makes sense, because I would understand if what I just said makes no sense at all.)

Sidenote: I did find this oddity while looking to see if the import fixed all instances of my previous issue.
