I found a few things, most not necessity, but important in certain situations.
Anyway...
we need a flip button for transform cards.
a rotate button for split cards (or a different sized section)
and a rotate button for kamigawa flipps.
One last thing. I'm not sure if you were wanting to keep up with the times in terms of formats, but extended was just discontinued and it is still shown in the card database as a format in which cards can be legal in.
I' hope i helped. Thanks for managing this awesome convenient site! And of course, have fun!
Awesome work guys, this is looking great, new visuals are smooth and very well organized.
Some sugestions:
-Keep the latest changes on the spoiler and maybe increse it size from 10 cards to 20 or smthing. Its the ABSOLUTE BEST WAY to keep track of new cards spoiled and having to scroll the whole spoiler to find 1-2 new cards is a pain in ass in comparisson
-No space between mana symbols. This way just looks more natural and better IMO
-Smaller frame for the spoiled cards in spoiler. Most of the space in those rectagles is blank and more cards could easily fit in those rows and columns
-Keep, if possible, the option to login using the username. Me, and I supose many others, created our accounts using very old emails that we may not remember
_________
Edit:
-On the spoiler the sections menu could be over the sopiled cards instead of being on the left. Currently you have like 25% of the space on the left unsused just because of this.
-If possible make the size of posts that contain minimal text smaller. To much wasted space just to say "B"
-Also the post identification (the left side with avatar, username,...) could be smaller
-Is the forum jump incomplete?. As of now I can only acces forum home, lattest threads and memebers, Im guessing it will get fixed latter right?
-Big ass sugestion: Have u thought about renewing or at least renaming the forum sections?. The established, developing and casual sections are named diferently on each format and I think is a cause of a lot of confusion for new members and a lot of missplaced threads. The forums should represent the ascencion of commander and the death of extended. Custom content could be more out there, right now that section is quite dead and I think this site has the biggest magic cc comunnity on the web
Was just doing a trade online and wanted to include some tokens, so thought I'd give this beta card database a shot at finding prices/art. Apparently, they aren't supported... though I did find a single Saproling token from one of the duel decks. It didn't show up with a [cmc = 0, type = creature] search though. Actually, Dryad Arbor, Memnite, Shield Sphere, and Phyrexian Walker didn't show up in that search either. Color me concerned.
I'd suggest using Yahoo's YSlow, Google PageSpeed, maybe even Zoompf to test the new site for performance optimizations. If there are any images that you need to compress Yahoo's Smush.it is a free tool that works great. Webpagetest.org is a really good way to test for page load times for free. If you want to test the new site on scalability for handling unusually high traffic then try running some load tests with LoadStorm.com they've got a solid tool, with good customer support, and very affordable pricing.
I ran some quick tests and the main things I noticed about the new forums is it could use compression on some images, a CDN for static content, and move your javascript calls to the bottom of the page.
Every time I try to access any portion of the site, I get something asking if I want a new nickname. I've already changed it once to iRebel, and now I cannot get rid of this prompt. Whilst the prompt is up, navigating the site is nigh impossible.
What is the status of fixing the 20ppp issue?

I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
Oh, another issue: Please, please, please, get rid of "relative time". Posts should display real time stamps, not "3 hours ago", or September 12, 2013. Time stamps should always include the time. "Today" and "Yesterday" is fine, so long as anything older than "Yesterday" includes an actual date and time stamp.

Please please please tone down the contrast. The huge black bars above posts pull my eyes away from the posts and cause me to see spots after a while. It's like one of those black-and-white grid optical illusions.
The avatar borders could do with a few pixels of padding.
I'd also love if the PPP limit was substantially increased/an option of resetting it was given.
I noticed that a multi-quote feature might also be in the works over the long haul. If possible, being able to multi-quote from the search results page (when searching for a given user's posts in a thread or subforum) has been on the wish list of the mafia forum for quite some time.
Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone for their patience during our radio silence over the last month or so. We've been hard at work on making the new MTG Salvation the best it can be. With that in mind, we've just pushed an update (the first of several over the next few weeks) to the beta that will hopefully improve the experience for everyone. Here's a quick rundown of the changes:
We've improved the formatting of posts to better match their originals. We still have some work to do here, so don't be discouraged if everything isn't perfect yet!
Animated gif support for avatars has been added.
We've removed the rounded corners on avatar frames.
Navigation dropdowns now activate on click rather than on hover.
Added registration date and location to post bits.
Staff now have their names in bold, while normal users should not.
Minimizing forums should be better all around.
Spacing between mana symbols has been fixed.
Threads per page and posts per thread can now be customized in forum management.
Mark all as read should be fixed.
The signature area in short posts should start higher up.
The forum home is now the root of the breadcrumb within forums.
Quote bugs should be fixed.
Improper ordering of posts within threads should be fixed.
If you find issues or have concerns, please continue to post in this thread. We have a lot more coming down the pipe, so stay tuned!
Sorry but in the original forum there were 38 replays aprox in the topic of my custom set, Drought, but in this new forum there are like 18. May be this problem hapens with other topics of custom sets.

The beta forum took a copy of all the posts as of a certain time and date, so any posts made on the main forum since then aren't shown. Likewise for any edits.
The much requested "thank" feature from the old MTGSalvation has been implemented.
Support for forum skins has been implemented. There's no dark skin yet, but it's being worked on now. Check back soon for a much darker experience!
Multi-quote has been implemented in the forums. Users can now quote multiple posts, even across pages within a thread, quickly and easily.
Thread listings can now be sorted by latest post (the default), thread creation date, view count, and post count.
A new notification will alert users when a thread they created has been locked or deleted.
The /new-content feature has been overhauled. It now allows for automatic refreshing every 15 seconds and enhanced filtering as been added.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or find any bugs, please report them in this thread. We still have another feature update in the pipeline, so I'll be back soon with new of that.

It's a little late to consider why not, isn't it?

Here is a webpagetest of the main forums page (took 10 seconds to load on a 5 Mbps connection) http://www.webpagetest.org/result/130920_Y7_18Y6/
Ideally you want a webpage to load in 3 seconds or less.
P.S. Some of the emoticons do not work yet. Look at my signature to see proof.

What happened to everyone's avatar? Sene has his, but most of the others are missing.
Is this a user option or something the Salvation mods have to change? I don't seem to be able to find it if it's the former.
