Kind of self explanatory...but where is the NSFW area of this site? I know there used to be one, but it seems to have disappeared?
Also, what happened to the gutter?
I'm specifically wondering because, for the most part, we're all adults here. I don't understand why we can't talk about "mature" subjects when a majority of the player base and MTGS userbase is older than the game itself. This site seems to be catering more and more to the "family" audience, when honestly, in the real world, where we live and thrive daily (well most of us) is FAR, FAR "worse" and less "family-" and child-oriented.
I mean, serious questions here. Its so frustrating that all the bull**** cable tv shows and popular movies can have such mind-numbing-ly stupid programs/premises with much more "crude" subject matter and/or euphemisms, and yet I can't talk about the new grinder my girlfriend gave me for my birthday.
What gives?

The NSFW section still 'exists', in some capacity. Each of the NSFW sections (debate, creative writing, etc.) moved to be with their fellow forums (NSFW creative writing under Creative Writing, for example).
Gutter was closed earlier this year (January). The NSFW section was split up about a month ago - NSFW Debate is now a subforum of Debate, etc. The NSFW usergroup still exists, only NSFW Artwork was deleted (with its grand total of two posts).
As for topics, well. What kind of mature subjects would you like to be able to discuss?
And, mainly [hrm, don't want to get infracted], 420. Where I'm from, its a legit sub-culture in and of itself. I'd say at least 10% [probably more, upwards of 25%] of our economy in one way or another can be linked to the Emerald Triangle, so we take it very seriously. (and very lax too, yes counter-intuitive, but trust me, it works) [ie. We rejoiced on election day, but for the most part we're very chill people...obviously. haha]

The Gutter was "closed". Except you just can't "close" a group of people. If only there was a site where adults who play Magic could talk, like the big boys and girls they are...

Where do you think we are, the Internet? Magic boosters say the game is for 13+ and this forum respects the pack.
What gave you this impression? I'm of the understanding that most of the MTGS community here is teenagers.
Teenagers and young college students are the biggest demographic, last I knew, and I doubt it's changed. But if we were to be honest, many (I'll stop short of saying "most) male adults on the internet here present themselves like mandchildren, so I've never really bought the "We're all adults" argument, heh.
(Note: not claiming complete innocence or exclusion from my own statement about maturity. It happens some times - I'm human, after all).

Edit: Nai got in there before me.
I don't think this is really true. I'd wager there are a significant number of minors who are either members or regular visitors of this site.

/Mr. mackey.
Unfortunately, it's illegal in most places. That's not a matter of NSFW. I am curious how the site will react when that changes.
