Okay, here's my basic idea of what to do.
1. Gather everyone at many different forums that has an unbanned News account, and inform them of what to do. Everyone should lie low until then; don't spam comments or whatever.
2. When applications for admin are opened, have all of those people apply. Hopefully, at least one person will get in.
3. That person gives everyone here admin.
4. We contact the resigned admins, ask them if there's anything that can be done that would seriously screw 'News up- some admin-changable settings, perhaps.
5. Go to town.
So, I plan on applying to become an Admin... if only to publicly resign.

no I will not endorse attacks like that on another site not only is it dishonrable it reflects bad on this site, I request any memebrs not to spam up mtgnews if it restarts.

What? So what are you guys going to do, just sit on your asses and ***** about how much Raa sucks without doing anything about it? Come on. Help us out here.
So who is going to apply for Mod/Admin for real reasons? I know that I will apply, and I hope that whoever becomes Admin can rebuild MTGnews to an enjoyable and fun Magic site.
Guys, I am upset as the rest of you but we shouldn't be planning revenge. We should honestly try to kick into gear and pick up the slack the best we can at 'News and try to keep it afloat. I don't want to see 'News die, even if we dislike the owner. I want to make it better than ever.
Look i am upset as much as any hell i the last 3 months i have been putting lots of real effort into mtgnews. but revenge as P_P puts it is just not appropriate.
I wopuld love to run to be a mod (not a admin) but look how the prevoius people in the job were treated, no thanks i dont want that type of **** dumped on me.

I would love to be a moderator if only to be able to help as much as possible. Even if all I'd be able to do is keep the forums properly moderated, every little bit counts.
The mods got ***** on so bad back at News and then when they stand up for what they believed in (Well, most of them) they got ranted on by a lying little ***** like Raa.
At least here we moderators and admins can work as a team without someone going nuts if we have a suggestion to improve the forums...
I mean hell, half the time we have an MSN window up with 4-5 of us in there discussing things.
Resist your temptation to take out revenge on MTGNews. I don't exactly have all the information yet on what exactly was going on, so I will refrain from taking sides. That is also why I now have an account here. And I doubt most of the people plotting sophisticated ways to cripple MTGNews know what exactly is going on either. Even if Raa was completely negligent, you shoudl still exercise the "high ground". Make this a respectful forum for people who do not like that practices at 'News rather than as "the other forum".
I might try to become a mod over at 'News but I would only be interested in Outside Magic. Though I am not sure if I would have the time or talent for such a task.

Very true-but let's strategize before rushing off.

This is a sig. Yes it is.
And I'm pretty sure admins can at least make other people Mods, if not admins.
