It's awesome. It really forces some focus late in the process. This latest one is a perfect example of "whoa, hold on a second guys" that can happen when things move too fast.
I took a look through your purchases and tried to guess what formats you might play. My end conclusion is multiple.
What what I understand about Glissa, The Traitor is that you have a few options. The obvious one is a deck that wants to fill up your own graveyard and have a bunch of cards that work well from there. I don't know how competitive your table is, but I'd probably make a deck about artifacts with sacrifice effects and have my share of ways of killing opponent's creatures. Glissa herself wants to wield a Thornbite Staff or a Viridian Longbow.
EDIT: Nah, let's be honest. I'm a sucker for tribal with underdeveloped deck building skills and would just make a bad black-green zombies deck. Though Glissa would still have her staff and bow. I've really enjoyed having them in my Damia Sage of Slivers deck, so I'd probably include them in any general with deathtouch.
I play casual and EDH, lmao.
Mine would be an artifact deck with a lot of artifacts that gain from being sacrificed, and stuff that makes everyone sacrifice stuff. Take that.
I'm not huge on the creatures interaction so it tends to make the direction of my deck.
I think you'll end up with a better glissa deck than my tribal-centric tendencies. Black has great removal, green and artifacts for ramp and then sac, kill and recur.
Back from the Bahamas... Whad'I miss? Saw the spoilers... Pretty much not impressed. I like Kiora, the white llegendary 3/4 1/1 maker, the minotaur mana-decreasing lord, the 2 damage & potentially 3 to the dome uncommon burn spell... And that's it. I know there is only about 20% spoiled so far, so I hope there are much more goodies to be spoiled.
All I see is an endless sea of cards I want to put in cubes of differing types. The pre-release promos (the guys that'll be in foil as feature cards in each starter) look perfect for a bulk rare cube. My silverblack/peasant Theros block cube looks like it's getting a noticeable improvement over just using doubleton Theros.
So, in May 2013, I don't know if I posted, but I went to spend a summer with my gf in an apartment closer to school. We sublet from two people also from my university, who were one year older, as they were leaving for the summer. They said to take their internet, in my name, and that they'd take it back when they move back in.
They didn't. They didn't tell me they didn't. They didn't tell me I was still being billed (paper billing to their address). The company didn't either. Since It wasn't automatically deducted from my account, it just didn't get payed.
Now it's over at a collection agency, and I gotta pay the bill, as well as the thing they had lost on the account that is now mine.
Did I mention they then moved away?
The worst part is, to take someone's account, you need them to call, allow it, and give you the special number. I called and gave them the number. They said thanks or something. They straight up didn't do it, and weren't honest about it. I didn't have to lose any money. Like at all. If they had told me to cancel it, I would have cancelled it, and nothing would have been billed.
I don't quite understand the procedure that ended up costing you money, but it sounds like an expensive lesson in 'don't trust random people'. Atleast you're still young and it's not (atleast I hope so) back-breakingly expensive.
You might as well have removed the link by now. Assuming it's the one to the goblin.
Anyways, best wishes &.
As for BNG, the set does have a bunch of interesting cards, maybe the most since ... Innistrad, as well as cards I expect to not do well (tribute & inspired will have a huge variance in playability). It's a shame that they already got rid of monstrosity. I don't like them spewing out new abilities each set and then doing only a handfull of cards. I understand that it's less risky for them, that it's an experimental nature, that makes limited more diverse - but as a constructed player and s.o. interested in card design, some mechanics deserve more depth. Back to BNG, all but General, Hero & Shieldmate are atleast interesting, the only thing speaking against Hero being that I don't like this type of card. For blue, Mindreaver and the counter suck, the rest again is ok. Reaver being a worse 'reprint' and the counter, well I wrote the MUC primer, you know my stance on this. Wave is outright hilarious and Tromokratis' only fault is that its hexproof clause is sort of an insult, acknowleding I'll be happy 'bout it, if it's on the other side. Black's prerelease promo is simply too expensive, Herald I think will not perform well, and that Pulsetracker thing still is a 1/1 body. "Oh it's great against an empty board." What body worth playing isn't? Nothing to say on red. Only that the fixed Kiki really got fixed hard, and yet it looks interesting (solid stats). Green's heroic and tribute cards so far and the card against flyers... suck. But atleast the flyer hate most often does. Multicolour, what to say on a random 5C critter... I know what song I'll have in mind if I ever face it. The Ephara cards both have great artwork and are engine-y, so I approve. The other gods atleast have stunning artwork, while their abilties don't make me want to play them. Of the rest only Fanatic and Follower strike me as good. Monger's issue is that his tribe sucks, on a competitive level. Cheaper cows still are cattle.

I think I average getting a tiny bit more than a number/facebook per weekday. I have the gift of not being shy and being surrounded by nice girls it seems. Luckily, my "talk to you once I get your info" is like... the worst. Today I got a "It's ok, I was just a bit busy."
SHAME.
School started recently, and I'm feeling all bleh.
EDIT: I'm sorry, I'm being all negative. I'm bringing a cloud of SADS to the thread.
For me, girl chasing at college was a long time ago. All I can really say is that it's going to seem a lot less important ten years from now than it does now. Though I certainly wouldn't have thought about it that way a decade ago. What I find interesting now is the huge number of women in the thirties that are trying to find someone to have a baby with before they run out of time and there starts being health risks for both the mother and child. In more than half of the dates I've been on in the last year, the woman has brought up having children on the first date.
Anyway...
As for BNG and monger, I really like the idea of a solid minotaur tribal theme, but I'm not sure it'll truly be there until the block is done. For people playing limited with actual packs at FNM or on MTGO, it's sort of funny when a format gets well developed and all the archetypes get worked out just in time to move on to the next core set release. Minotaur tribal will arrive for limited just in time to say good bye. It'll see be a fun sub-optimal constructed option, but probably won't truly get there like elves or merfolk.
That said, I'm still totally going to make a casual minotaur deck now.
Yeah, dating is for fun (whether it's with someone you're in a relationship with or someone you're just getting to know) and relationships are forged in real life contexts. Trying to use dating to get into a relationship is simply using the wrong tool for the job .
I'm loving the new double enchantment tutor Plea of Guidance (name is in German, so not sure if the translation is right). What I'm interested in now is seeing which cards end up being competitive and which will be nice bulk rares I can buy. I don't exactly want another Dragon's Maze where the bulks abounded everywhere because I get that opening packs for chase rares is what makes the secondary market what it is so I can play for as cheaply as I do, but a higher ratio of bulk rares is always welcome. And so far, nothing spoiled has made the competitive players stand up and shout for joy.
I just found out that an old friend got into commander. So I guess it's time to start working on my first deck. Looking at my list of casual decks, I have a Wild Research deck that has mostly singletons. So it will probably be WUR. Any suggestions on a commander?
What about Numot, the Devastator? There are 2 other red/white/blue legendaries, but they are not that great. Numot is the best choice. I wish there were more r/w/u legends.

If you don't mind being that guy, or limit yourself a bit, Zedruu can really profit from atleast half of Wild Research. On top of that, if active, she fills your hand so an unfortunate random discard becomes less likely. Sunforger could be a plan B engine that also uses Wild Research. There's a few fun instants to grab in WUR, and you even get Mistveil Plains to recycle them.
Ruhan is too vanilla and Numot if you can connect ~twice with one player might also be rather annoying. I mean, if both of you are ok with LD, go for it. There's plenty ways to screw people over in these colours.
If you have a binder with good cards you don't currently play, I suggest taking it out and dig for inspiration there. Won't be the most creative deck ever, but for starting a good stuff deck is easy to build, get and probably play.

Im currently trying to get into commander myself, im a artifact deck lover at heart and im trying to make a deck revolving around Arcum Dagsson problem is I cant seem to focus it properly too many cariable cards.... its like im a mad myr scientist with my artifact creature sac dig for warping twistable artifact cards
Being relatively new to commander, I've come to realize that the playgroup expectations are both the most important thing to consider and the least possible to predict.
So I'd recommend just getting a deck together out of your existing collection and going and giving it a try. Accept in advance that you will not win. Only one person in a given game will actually outlast everyone, so it's essential to get used to being in 2nd, 3rd and 4th, especially if you are new to it.
In fact, having the goal being to get in 1st is probably a bad idea for anyone in a social multiplayer casual format like Commander.
The odds are your first deck will not be great and the particulars of the format won't be apparent, so it's best to just accept it, play it and then tune it.
And don't be afraid to be vocal about being new. Make sure everyone knows you have no idea if your deck is going to work at all and you're looking forward to trying out a new format. People underestimate the effect of threat reduction by simply talking about how new you are provides.
But you don't do that to win. You do it to be in the game longer so you can learn.
Just be aware that if you use Arcum Dagsson people will often expect you to combo out/lock the board down early, so you'll be very likely to draw a lot of hate very quickly. That said, Arcum is an awesome commander and can be very fun.
I always learn a lot from them but I'm terrible at constructed deck building. I mostly do cube drafts and variant formats, so I'm sure I'll learn lots from a GMAD/CDCC even if my contributions would more likely detract than help

Out of ~1200 in my bank account.
if one may ask, why?

My ex gf and I don't talk anymore.
I also lost the job I had queue'd up for this summer.
I'm now job and girl hunting.

I got it on December 28th on a 2 year contract.
Soon is the turnaround where everything will go well.
Or run a 5 color legend...

Thanks for the advice for a new commander player. I'm pretty sure the power level of my friend's group is low, so that should help.
I wanted to make an Arcum Voltron deck, lmao.
Never got to it though.
Now I wanna make a Derevi Hatebears Stax deck.
