I've been getting some MtG in pretty regularly, we've got a group that meets on the second Saturday of each month. It seems that gap in time actually nets more players than just trying to get people together on a random day (with or without advance notice).
I'm pretty excited about Olivia's Dragoon, I have a deck that originated as the Timespiral Madness precon. It has vastly changed over the years, but it has been needing a solid 2 drop discard outlet.
I watched a pretty solidly creepy/uncomfortable movie recently, 'They Look Like People'. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to set aside time for an uneasy feeling that you get to turn off with your electronics.
If you'd like to put on a movie to scare children, Babadook is a great option! (Netflix)
I've also been dusting off and/or replaying some older X360 games. Culdcept Saga is a good one for MtG lovers because it's a cross between Magic and Monopoly.
Babadook has a pretty similar feel to They Look Like People. I'd say Babadook has a little more on the visual and jump scare factor, and People has a bit more of that building dread vibe.
I've been watching a number of documentaries on Netflix lately. Last night I watched a fascinating one on witch hunting in England. We always hear about the Salem witch trials over here, but I think England/Europe had it MUCH worse!
So... yeah, those Masterpieces look kinda crazy... and they said every set is going to have a collection of masterpieces? I wonder what that will mean for us...
As usual, American Ninja Warrior is too hard.
Really? You opened this? Great, the floor is lava again.
Other stuff... working on some Word Ladders and another silly multiple choice game sort of like the last one (though a bit different). Piano stuff is still going well.
Wait... you like lava floors? I should get different traps then. If you want to watch the world go crazy (in a more crafty way), maybe you could actually invent some of these. Wait, no, don't do that...
1. Paper hedron on my desk (same one as I made back in BFZ)
2. A kitty lying on the carpet
3. A foam Rubik's Cube that looks real, but is really just a foam toy
a boot lackey for air force cadets, a few bajillion perticles of light in the blue end of the white light spectrum and an alienware laptop...
suficient? any does any under stand how my grey corps character works, magic wise?
@HKT: Yeah, that will do. As far as Alexzander goes (or is it Olivia?), the only thing I know is what they offered in their applications.
And speaking of which, as things have gotten really slow in that thread, I have considered relaxing the rules a bit in regard to number of active personas per participant. As long as things don't go totally overboard, I'd be okay with two per person (or one with a minor familiar or two). But you still only get one vote in matters that require voting.
1) One XBOX ONE Box
2) Two Two Worlds II items--both a poster and the video game
3) Three posters about the third release in a series (Fable III, God of War III, and LOTR: Return of the King)

You know. Nissa is great but ever since I read the Theros story, Ajani has been my favorite walker. She's still up there though.
By the by, the leaked picture with Ajani got me giddy.
Also, we got a new kitten he's adorable. If he sits still long enough, I might snap a picture.

DQ's got another kitten? Awesome!

3. Ceramic hummingbird feeder surrounded by relief sculptures of hummingbirds.
If we get enough activity in the GreyCorps thread, maybe we can see this paradoxical magic in action.
2. A ceramic hamburger
3. A Megathruster CD
