I started in 1997. With a 4-color deck (No Blue) with only two land types in it, besides 3 forests (U and B). I was 6 okay.

And hmm... how about no cost, tap ability or lose 1 life whenever you use it to avoid infinite abuse? Either of those?

@Jinxed Cultist: Yeah, what Kank said. That guy gives an absolutely insane use for your extra mana and in the right engine gives the potential to allow its controller to tutor up any card s/he wants. The + life loss requirement would be a nice compromise.

Well, actually, remember Tori, the woman I was dating before Melissa? We reconnected in a big way after Melissa and I broke up, and after about a year, I just decided screw it. She thought I was just going to ask her if we could start dating again, but I took it to a different level. I know who I want to spend the rest of my life with,and i just don't find myself attracted to anyone else anymore, so I didn't see a point in NOT proposing.

I'm still not a singer. But if I was, and I'm not, I would help with that.

Even if you were a singer, I don't think your voice would sound like Aurora's voice though.

(It may be a bit difficult for me to find a singer, since "being Aurora" also has the kinda demanding requirement of being able to do star jumps and that sort of thing for posing on the album cover. I'm still sure it's possible though, so I'll stick with it...)

Honestly though. US always has this crisis when the temperature somewhere goes below zero degrees celsius, or when there's a thin film of ice on top of one pond. Suddenly, everyone forgets how to drive, all schools shut down, and all claims of global warming are debunked.

I get that the areas that rarely get that cold aren't prepared, there is no equipment to clear the snow if there's a lot of it and cars don't have proper wheels for winter, but still. It always makes me roll my eyes a bit. Go out and make a snowman or something.

Generally the north isn't too terrible about snow; it's only the south where they aren't equipped for it that there's real problems (see for example: Alabama just had a snowstorm and there are crashes absolutely everywhere). Excepting the last two days of extreme cold, it's been years since I last had a snow day (something like 5-6). And we've definitely had more than a little ice on the ponds.
