So, with the game Watch Dogs 2, you can murder anyone you want and post pics, but if you post a picture of game-rendered genitalia, that's grounds for a ban/suspension from the game?
Not too much for me to post about, still doing piano stuff and making music quizzes. Though I do have another math quiz (simple descending number expressions once again, this time with answers ranging from 26 to 50). Probably will get the "no O" music quiz next.
So...I guess I finally joined this site. How goes it, y'all?
Hi Kank!!
(That's AWESOME that my smilie transferred over)
I juat saw your post over on that post you made on the Mafia forum. Your old account should be hanging around if you want it back. It would just be under the email address you used to create it way back when. If you don't have access to the email our friendly local tech (Feyd) should be able to merge the accounts for you.

I thought I checked for it by email, but I just realized I'm pretty sure I set the original account up with an account I don't use anymore. So I should just email Feyd?
If you help me get my MandersHex back, I'll love you forever!!
Thanks! Actually, I wasn't sure if you'd recognize me or not because I kinda went through a change in online identity back in 2012 and I don't remember if you were around for that or not... but yeah, I'm mostly still doing the same things (so you probably figured out who I was).
I'm making another I Spy puzzle too, but this time I'm getting some of my friends to add stuff to the drawing. It's getting quite interesting.

Your custom title gave you away.
I left the site before Curse took over completely...so was that REALLY 4 years ago? DANG.
Hello, Crafters. I'm back! Got a new job working as a welding and metallurgy instructor at SAIT, a technical college in Calgary. Glad to be back in Alberta, and I'm looking forward to the 10 weeks vacation! Point is, they don't have an internet filter. So, uh, hi!
My son is almost 5 now and loves to paint on Magic cards. I don't have any on hand that I can show off, but we've been having fun with that still.
My major crafting work recently has been on game design, actually. Like, board games. My primary project is called Merchant's Dilemma, a game inspired by the prisoner's dilemma where players choose to either cooperate or compete. Cooperation nets you 2 gold each, competition nets you 1 gold each, but if you compete while your opponent cooperates, you get 3 and they get 0. There are buildings and contract cards that change the game or give you abilities, but the core of the game is that negotiation. The game itself is way more fun than I'd thought it would be at the outset, and I'm pretty far along in it's design now after a few dozen play tests. Currently working on prettying everything up and creating a sell sheet so I can try to get this thing published.
How are you guys doing? I'm not going to go back and read the few hundred pages I missed, so you'll have to fill me in!
Whoa... not one, but TWO people returning? Hi there Stardust!
@Bur: Good job!
I'll make one for 51-75, and also 76-100, though those will be harder (I may have to go up to 7, or even 8 a few times for these). And a bit of a preview... 6 * 5 + 4 ^ (3 / 2 + 1) will be on the next quiz.
What have I been doing? Still making quizzes, mostly. Still lots of music clip quizzes, though occasionally a few word games and math games too. Still playing piano of course. Writing music has been a bit slow (haven't done too much after Shot in the Dark from back in July, though I am writing a difficult etude too). Bach fugues are difficult.
Hm... since you haven't been here for a while (@Stardust and @MandersW / @MandersHex), maybe you could quiz us in a Four Truths and a Lie style... post five statements about yourself, four true and one false, and we have to guess which one is false.
1) I altered a Kiku, Night’s Flower with Van Gogh’s Starry Night as the background.
2) I bought a house here in Calgary with a large backyard and close to a large park.
3) My new job at SAIT is replacing my father after his retirement, leading to accusations of nepotism.
4) I have caught 114 different types of pokémon in Pokémon GO.
5) My top three favourite table-top games are Quantum, Dominion, and EDH.

Ooh, interesting.
1) I have a new nephew in my life, a bouncing 3 month old chunk of a boy named Sebastian
2) I work at a desk w/r_0 right across from me at another desk.
3) I have 3 cats, all under a year old.
4) I proudly voted for Trump.
5) I recently discovered I am ½ British.
Stardust is not allowed to guess because he already knows the answer.

My guesses: 3 for Stardust, and... also 3 for Manders.
Another random question... who thinks they could handle going through one of Aurora's trap rooms? (I know most people here don't actually want to, but who thinks they'd be able to if they had to, hypothetically?)
It must be 2012 if Stardust is here. Let's see. I got married, my brother's wife had a baby and I am living out my lifelong dream of being the crazy auntie.

3 is quite true. I'll share a pic at a later time. My sweet Mason I had last time I was here passed away in September at the venerable age of 15.

Hm... my next guess would be 2 because it seems too "obviously true" that I'd think it's a trick.
Anyways, as far as crafty stuff goes, I randomly decided to make another maze today. No overlapping paths or fences to jump over or anything like that, just a crazy squiggly maze.
And for those who prefer "lexicographical" challenges rather than physical challenges, you could try to pick any letter that's worth one point in Scrabble (RSTLNEAIOU) and write a post without using that letter. I've done that with E in the past since that's a typical challenge, and occasionally with A when around the time of making my "no A" quiz - haven't really tried for the others yet though.
Alternatively, for something much easier, just use all twenty-six letters in your post (and don't just append one of the famous pangram sentences to your post just for the sake of fulfilling the challenge). As a matter of fact, I even used each letter at least twice in this post.

I'm surprised people didn't get yours right away, Manders. Only one of those options is completely ridiculous!
Congrats on the marriage, vliger*. Thinking of becoming a crazy mom sometime too, or is the aunt your aspiration?
*didnt I used to call you something?... maybe it was just Abby. I'll have to check on that.
