Sorry if there is a specific thread for this, I knew there used to be one but I didn't see it in the Commander Resources section.
Anyway, I've been playing EDH for about two years now, and my decks have always been changing. I've built about 10 different decks, everything from Ghave, Guru of Spores to Sedris, the Traitor King. I'm still looking for the one deck that I can claim to be my deck, the one that I can always come back to. I'm looking to play 2 or 3 colors, preferably three, and any color combination is ok. The number one thing that I love in my EDH decks is synergy. When I flip through my deck, I love being able to see how every piece works together. My favorite strategies thus far have been reanimation and tokens, but I'm not constrained to these. Thanks in advance for any help!
Well, post-Wrath, my Karona, False God deck is pretty funny when I cast her, then slap down Elephant Grass with a Grand Melee already on the field. Would you say you enjoy making crappy cards good with synergy?
The generals I've tried in no particular order are:
Sedris, the Traitor King
Thraximundar
Rith, the Awakener
Doran, the Siege Tower
Karador, Ghost Chieftan
Teneb, the Harvester
Ghave, Guru of Spores
Kresh the Bloodbraided
The Mimeoplasm
Kaalia of the Vast
I forgot to mention that my playgroup is casual so no infinite combos yet. Also I'm not averse to going back to one of these generals, I just wanted to see what the forum thought first before I start trading for and buying more cards.

I was actually going to suggest Vela the Night Clad until I saw this. She's my personal favorite, but without combos she's less interesting. (Mind you, they're not all infinite, but most of them will kill the table.)
Now onto the issue at hand: Something I've seen do amazing things in my playgroup is Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper. The deck can be incredibly synergistic and at the same time about as powerful as you want to make it. I couldn't tell you exactly how to build it, it's not my deck, but I can tell you that it's loaded with deck synergy and plays in a very fun way.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

I'd try some non-three color decks for once. While you say you're looking to play 2-3 colors, have you ever tried monocolor or two colors? It's a much different experience than playing three colors, and one I was surprised to find that I liked playing mono color more than playing say three colors.

I've heard good things about Sek'kuar as well, plus he fits both reanimator and token! Definitely worth looking into, thanks!

I've thought about it but I always end up looking wistfully at the cards I can't play in a mono-color deck. I might make one to be a complement to my other decks but for my main deck I'd rather stick to multicolor.

I also suggest trying one or two color commanders. I've found that they tend to be incredibly synergistic. If you are really looking for a tri-color choice, then I second the above. I feel like the most synergy comes out of black-green. Judging by the amount of bg decks you have done you should have a good enough start for a sekkuar deck.

I guess I'll look into two color commanders too, but almost every BG general is taken by someone im my group, so do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks for all the help I've already gotten!
Jenara, Asura of War. Look at ISBPathfinder's primer, I have to say it is the most synergistic deck I have played (some card choices are different for personal taste but the bulk of the deck is the same)
i know you said 2+ color, but i feel as if shirei, shizo's caretaker needs a mention anyways as not only does it have a very strong reanimation theme, but it also is the most synergistic deck thats ive run as of yet. drop shirei then sac your whole field except for him to get an insane amount of death triggers and ETB triggers. its a really fun deck and since its so general based it plays unlike any other deck ive built
5 Color Cromat with tons of tutoring that doesn't reveal the card. Play a few classic playing cards, a couple Uno Draw 4s (Ancestral Recall eat your heart out), some basic Pokemon for defense, a Get Out of Jail Free card, and have assembling all five pieces of Exodia be your win condition. People will flip because EXODIA!? IMPOSSIBLE! NOBODY'S EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM!

I love Shirei too but my friend already has that deck built

perhaps something like Chainer, Dementia Master then, not quite as fun, but itll get the job of reanimating done, and playing cards like the newly unbanned koko puffs will make him pretty mean.

He seems like fun, I'll look through the decklist database and see if I'm inspired.

I know that I am very fond of my mono black list because of the synergy. If I were to pick a primary color, it would probably be black.

If I built a deck like that I think I'd do Sek'kuar, Deathkeeper who plays along those same lines.
