Just hit me with as many commander deck ideas as you can.
One rule is: not just commanders. Don't just say "a [insert general here] deck." I'm looking for decks with good themes.
Maybe it's a deck idea you've had but never got around to putting a list together.
Maybe it's a deck you play, but no one else does.
Maybe it's just crazy and whacky and nonsensical and you would never do it.
Share your deck ideas!
If this goes well, I may compile a list so people can roll a die and get a random idea for when they want to build a deck but have a writer's block (deck builder's block?).
Lavinia of the Tenth: Bounce and blink. Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius: Izzet spellslinging. Wizards subtheme, but lots of spells. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord: Dredge shenanigans in a rock shell. Captain Sisay: Legends. So many legends. Lazav, Dimir Mastermind: Shape-shifting theme, with Control Magic variants to take your opponents resources and subvert them. Aurelia, the Warleader: Boros aggression, focusing on numerous multiple attack steps. Double striking and haste FTW Obzedat, Ghost Council: Tokens, lifegain, control. Soul Sisters for Commander. Lyzolda, the Blood Witch: Every Act of Aggression variant in a deck built around sacrificing things. Steal their stuff, attack with it, and then sacrifice it to do something better for you. Ruric Thar, the Unbowed: 50 creature.dec. Heavy use of ETB creatures instead of spells, ramping into Ruric and basically turning fatties sideways. Prime Speaker Zegana: Heavy +1/+1 counter theme. Doubling Season, Kalonian Hydra, Graft creatures and Evolve creatures. Zirilan of the Claw: Here thar be DRAGONS! Angry mono-red dragons - lots of ground sweepers to buy time to get the lizards aloft. Bonus points for becoming a dragon yourself via Form of the Dragon. Commander Eesha: Every white card that grants Protection from something. Enchantment subtheme. Lorthos, the Tidemaker: Blue sea creature.dec. All the random crazy blue fat with plenty of goofy water themed cards like Flood, or angry Stax cards like Rising Waters. Ezuri, Renegade Leader: Elves.dec. Lots of mana dorks, lots of Elvish themed cards, Overrun effects FTW. Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief: Mono Black Control. Reanimation effects, big mana doublers, the more skulls on the card the better. Child of Alara: Blow up the world. Then do it again. Send the Angry Baby out time and time again. Include stuff like Worldslayer, Decree of Annihilation, and Cataclysm. If it exists, it must burn. Win con is Barren Glory.
Crazy Cat Lady, being led by Kemba, Kha Regent, being composed of almost entirely equipment, other cats and having Elspeth Tirel in it.
This.
Right now, I'm in the very early stages of building an Erebos deck built around recursion and discard. The challenge? Including appropriate enchantments and creatures. The restriction(s)? NO ZOMBIES! and a focus on shades, spirits, and specters. The working title is The Shadies of Hades. I'll be including several ways to make the shadies difficult to block. I'm most looking forward to the deck's first few games—before I Spike it up—when I gleefully return EVERYONE's creatures to the battlefield (under their own control).
Here's what I've got so far:
Crucible of Worlds
Necropotence
Entomb
Reanimate
Exhume
Dread Return

Kravek the Merciless is the only general I could think of that could fit but I'd prefer to stay away from him because he gets hated out so bad or maybe Olivia Voldaren.
The following link is an invitation to join Pucatrade (card trading service though similar to TCGPLayer). If you follow the link then it awards me with tokens to exchange for actual cards. Thanks! https://pucatrade.com/invite/gift/86097

Here's a link to every deck I've ever built. Brainstorm power. The decks get increasingly better as I've learned Commander and Magic (started in Innistrad), so don't trust my earlier work
Any mono red commander, I originally used Adamaro, First to Desire and some equipment since the deck's premise is to refill everyone's hand quite a bit. Then it eventually morphed it into a Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer deck because it let me swap equipment for better artifacts as my collection got bigger and have some small protection from Planar Cleansing style effects. The win condition is primarily casting Molten Psyche either after a couple wheel effects or copying it multiple times with Recoup, Past in Flames, or Increasing Vengeance. Then it's all a matter of balancing making lots of mana, not being a threat, and answering the existing threats that come at you. The deck that I had built before I sold my collection was crushing.
Anecdotal story about victory; The earliest I have ever gone off was turn 4 after I dropped a Guantlet of Might turn 3 off of a Sol Ring, had Mana Geyser in hand, and top decked a wheel effect - but I got really lucky obviously. I also litterally won off of someone elses Nicol Bolas hitting me while they had Mindcrank because I got to untap and win solely out of my graveyard which is very uncommon for a mono red deck.
In combo heavy meta games, Red can answer dudes, artifacts, and lands without issue. In control heavy meta games, Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast, Burnout, and Mages' Contest exist. In big mana fattie meta games, red is better than white at destroying lands and can always cast Insurrection and just eat the people with the biggest armys. In graveyard removal heavy meta games, you have to be more careful with milling Molten Psyche into your yard but there are plenty of layers of win conditions that are easy to build in when you're basing your red deck on big mana, artifact interactions, and drawing lots of cards.
The down side is that as awesome as it is to just get there in blind comboing out with your mono red deck, my friend once told me that it was so time consuming to resolve everything that when I would win, he felt cheated in life.
Tribal everything. Just pick bad tribes, like Griffins or Shamans or something. UWG Griffins can give you an infinite mana combo with Mistmoon Griffin and Food Chain.

And... Go!

Oh, I really like this one.

The idea of the deck is to use things like Lavaborn Muse, Blightning, Skullrend, Rakdos Ringleader, etc. for hand-dismantling and abusing things like Liliana of the Dark Realms and Crypt Ghast to cast huge Rakdos' Returns and other Fireball variants or just Fling huge shades such as Liliana's Shade. Don't forget Master of Cruelties!

Oh, I really like the Talrand one. That deck would have great composition.
I've actually been struggling to make a Karador deck. I might steal that one for myself and try it.
I had an idea similar to this once, but it never got farther than Manabarbs and Painful Quandary.
Run a bunch of Clerics/Orzhov and things like Purgatory, Righteous War, Greed for a "evil church" feel. Suck the life out of the unbelievers!
My commander is Ghost Council of Orzhova

Kresh | Ghost Council | Sliver Overlord | Reaper King | Sharuum
Kaalia | Ghave | Zedruu | Mimeoplasm | Riku | Child of Alara (Kamigawa) | Anax and Cymede | Damia | Melek | Rakdos | Vela
