So I've been in the mood to create some sort of a control deck. Thought about doing a competitive MUC, but to make it the way I wanted proved cost prohibitive for myself. So the Idea of a mono white control deck really appealed to me. It's still control, it's cheaper, and you don't see it as much. Here's my take so far:
I do want this deck to be mildly competitive, if not necessarily tier 1 material.
I included strip mine over favorites such as wasteland so this deck should follow vintage rules.
This deck doesn't need to be particularly cheap, however it is on a budget.
Mox Diamond really wants to be in this deck but I am not sure i can afford them yet.
Card Choices:
Baneslayer Angel - The decks win con. Feel free to offer alternative win cons as Baneslayer is both pricey, and too stereotypical for me.
World Queller - The potential fun with him was too much to pass. Another way to choke off opponents lands while recurring them with crucible of worlds, or choke off their creatures while I recur with emeria, the sky ruin
Should give the ability to ramp up quite a bit faster, though if i was truly serious (and rich), I'd throw in a set of the moxen as this deck is vintage deckbuilding rules. That being said this deck really isn't equipped to deal with the vintage meta.
Since you're running white, maybe Enlightened Tutor to help you find those elusive restricted cards? (its not too surprisingly useful, seeing how its restricted as well)
Other than that, it looks like a really solid deck.
