However Janky it may be, i've always liked Gilder Bairn, so here's my attempt to utilize him in a deck with Jace. The only thing i worry about is earlygame; as i basically rely on Counterspell, Unsummon, Broken Ambitions, and Boomerang to save my ass when things don't go my way off the get-go (not usually a problem, as my friends allow several 7-card mulligans before they get annoyed). This deck could use some help, suggestions?
If you like gilder bairn so much, why not make him a 4-of? same thing with the curse of chains... it's the best enchantment for your bairn, so put more of it in there.
if your looking for some early game tempo. have you tried seal of removal over unsummon? because its a permamnet it forces your opponent to play around it. they know its there so they may hold back on that larger turn 3 or 4 creature and play a smaller threat. or else they may play naturalize to get rid of it which ties up 2 of their mana in the earlier rounds. the downside is that it lacks the surprise value latter in the game.
not sure on running 3 savor the moments. i can see that it works with the jace and the gilder but it seems very narrow to be running 3. consider dropping it to at least 2.

mulldrifter is always strong. i'd run 4.
I know it's odd, but i have issues playing anything with an old frame, or a non-black border. Call me weird, but it just doesn't feel right to me.
Fog Bank is a nice card, but i prefer Plumveil's ability to **** their **** up.
My T2 play is usually a Broken Ambitions, Counterspell, Boomerang, or Unsummon anyway; whatever sets your opponent back.

fog bank is another early game defensive card.
