I'm sorry I have to post this and its probably been asked before, with the confirmation that Yawgmoth is dead, does that also close the door with him being inside of Karn?
Karn killed Yawgmoth. Yawgmoth died, atleast the "physical/plague' him died. Could his soul or conciousness have invaded or stored itself inside of Karn? Now that he has lost his spark Yawgie is finally pushing himself to the forefront of his conciousness?
If anything is it feasable?
Yawgmoth is dead forever, in every way, shape and form.
To keep this slightly relevant, was that a trick that Yawgmoth came up with, or something that was part of Phyrexia? Whoever the new Father of the Machines is, can they do that?
Phyrexia was always like that. It's how the "dragon planeswalker" communed with his plane to keep things running smoothly. Dyfed hooked Yawgmoth up to it, and he just rolled with it since then.
Speaking of which, it's been mentioned in a few other threads that Phyrexia was made up of black mana. This didn't seem to be true when Yawgmoth first went there, but started happening as the plane transformed under his rule. Did Yawgmoth have control over the mana of the plane as well? Was this transformation that Phyrexia underwent ever described in more detail than what I read in The Thran?

I think it's more of a slow corruption because of the things that happened there. There was a small flavor article describing how mana bases change color. It's told in-universe, but it's worth reading.
YES HE DID.PLANAR DESPAIR'S ART IS A PICTURE OF YAWGMOTH AND HIS RETAINERS. THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS IN THE FAVOUR TEXT. THAT IS WHAT THE CARD IS DEPICTING. READ THE ☺☺☺☺ING CARD. IT'S VERY SIMPLE.
IF YOGMOTH DIDN'T GO TO DOMINARIA, WHY IS HIS CORPSE CURRANTLY POLLUTING URBORG AS SHOWN IN URBORG OF YAWGMOTH???
These are just random Phyrexians. Also, the pic that Taylor posted is not intended to be Yawgmoth. These things were seated in the Phyrexian Arena, and Yawgmoth spoke through them. In fact, he could speak through any Phyrexian he wanted. Even the black cloud was in fact his consciousness spread though trillions of nanomachines.
The source of that picture is InQuest magazine, one that was infamous for their speculation that sometimes contradicted the official information. That was also the case with this picture. The InQuest folk thought this was Yawgmoth. It was not.
Quote from Taylor »
The dudes on Planar Despair and Phyrexian Arena all kinda look like the pic in InQuest.
I think those pics are all enough to give you a general sense of what Yawgmoth looked like. Interpretations of any character very from artist to artist anyway.
No, Taylor. Just no. This is not Yawgmoth. Period.
Whoever want to know how Yawgmoth looked like, read The Thran and Apocalypse. Then let your imagination do what it can. You won't find a true picture of Yawgmoth except of the back of The Thran book (debatably) and the Last Stand pic.
There was one image that I always assumed was Yawgmoth, or at least concept art of him. If anyone has the Apocalypse novel on hand, at the beginning of chapters there was some times an illustration of a Phyrexian with many metallic legs like a millipede below his... metal shell, for lack of a better word and the head of a man. I don't have my copy of the novel anymore, but if anyone has it, they'd know what I'm talking about, and the illustration usually showed up on chapters that dealt mainly with Phyrexia.

Wish I could provide a scan :/

That is also not Yawgmoth. The same case as with InQuest - this is just one of the generic Phyrexians in the arena, through whom Yawgmoth spoke.

So I think Yawgmoth is involved with the color shift, but not entirely intentionally.
@Taylor: Yawgmoth was Phyrexia, but Phyrexia was largely whoever sat in the 9th Sphere.

Samuel L. Jace: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A ****!?
It's a dwarf, like the one on Dwarven Landslide.
