A picture of 36 Nicol Bolas, Planeswalkers, even though it's quite possible to attain those individually, would in and of itself be much more convincing than a text post.

Indeed. Of course, you'd have to be able to see the M13 logos on all of them, as to make sure that none are from Conflux.

True story, text costs nothing 36 Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker cards... that could be a pricy fake.
I have seen things like this when yugioh was fing up around lodt. when you could get packs with no foil or rare. i rember there was one time where someone got all foil jaces in the jvc dd. so its possible. also on guy once opend up a bosterbox of ygo with nothing but foil blazing impachis. so ya its possible. although pics or gtfo on thisone.
I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
So I cracked an M13 booster box today and got thirty-six copies of Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. I am extremely unhappy. Has something like this ever happened to anyone else? I really didn't want any copies of the dude.
What is it about some people's lives that makes them desire attention from strangers on an internet forum?
To all of the people posting about how it is possible because it is random: that would be true if it were truly random but it isn't. They don't throw all of the packs into a big pile, shuffle them, and then start pulling them out to fill boxes.
It is quasi-random. The rares/mythics come off of the sheet in the same order over and over and a machine uses an algorithm to randomize them. It isn't truly random. You can't compare it to rolling a die over and over. If it were it wouldn't be possible to box-map. The machine will never ever ever do this on accident, especially because there are only so many Nicol Bolas per sheet and it would need to hold everything up while it collected 36 of them across several sheets. It is possible to get a mythic in every pack if the wrong sheet were loaded but it wouldn't be the same mythic.
If it happened, it happened on purpose at the factory. Random is random but booster box filling is not random.
I can't say I know how Wizard's actually sorts its cards, but I could imagine it using a program to designate a card/position on each sheet and cut and package the boosters and then package the booster in the box. Things can get whacky that put the probability to no use.
I was at a prerelease draft for Planar Chaos back in the day in New York, when Temporal Extortion was predicted to be a $15 card. Guy in my table opens a pack and has 15 Temporal Extortion in the pack. Owner of store gave him a new pack and let him keep the cards!
I can't imagine it being practical to sort every booster and every box without the use of an automated machine, and there may be a sample they take, say every 1000 boosters and/or every 100 boxes at the print plant. Things can get skipped, and I've seen this with other products in the past (not necessarily Wizards).

Well, Mr. Trolldevil, automated sorting is used for all of the cards because modern print runs probably run into the billions of cards per set. (Based on the fact that Revised is reasonably estimated at 500-600 million back in 1994.) Uncut Magic sheets are 11X11. There were 51 rare/Mythic Rare cards in Planar Chaos so the machine would have to pull that specific card from between 5 and 8 different sheets (the number that would normally be sorted out into between 16 and 26 booster boxes) and put them all in a single pack. Not only is that outside of what it should be capable of doing, it is wildly outside of what it is programmed to do.
This is still much more likely than the Nicol Bolas scenario which involved more copies all in the same slot. These things are not impossible, but they are impossible by chance. Again I will declare, these things could only happen if someone at the factory did it on purpose. There have been cases of dishonesty in Magic factory workers before.
