yeah a god that wont sign cards for his fan because hes "too busy" its for this reason that Brian Snoddy, Carl Critchlow, Anthony S Waters and Ron Spears will allways be art gods in my book. Waters and Spears actually went above and beyond sending me cool little extras. Its this aprecation of the fan that makes a god in my book, not a grumpy english man who wont take a hour every week and sign some cards for people who enjoy his work.

Agreed. I didn't know how he was like as a person. My statement was made purely with his work as a basis, but 'tis true that worshipers a diety make.
Still, the guy makes good land art. Can't really argue that.
LOLs @ Hercwarrior. That's something I'm going to look forward to. Reminds me of Witchblade. Yum.
Damn you for beating me to the nudity idea though why stop at just 1 card.
Force of Will would definitely sell a core set if it was in the UW coldsnap Pre-con instead of scars of the veteran that set mightve stayed in print for more than 2 weeks

Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled
Thanks to chaostheory90 for finding this quiz for me
uncommons are not on reserve list. FoW is uncommon
Library of Alexandria is uncommon and it's on the list. So yes there are uncommons on the reserve list. Force of Will just happens to not be on the list.

yeah i know his land art rocks, if it dident i would not be so bitter about not having my cards signed.
Well as for why Force of Will isnt on the restricted list is a pretty straight forward answer: It stabilizes vintage. Whatever insane 1 turn kill combo people can come up with in vintage can be answered by FoW restrict it and vintage could degenerate into a whoever goes first wins format. Right now any combo deck in vintage would have to be prepared to deal with FoW
Library of Alexandria makes an already fast format even faster and provides such massive card advantage at 0 mana and when it cant draw a card it will produce mana. When it was unrestricted games became all about who can draw their library of alexandria first

They'll be hard to get into the packaging, but worth it in the long run.
back on topic.
Yes the Un lands would sell nicely, but unfortunately we already voted on which arts the lands would have and they didn't give us that option. Which is sad because I think it would help sell the set.
But then again, Xth is looking pretty good in its own right already, so it may not need the help.

Yeah... I really wish they'd reprint those lands, because they look really cool. Or better yet: make every land from newer sets all art! I mean, Sets are supposed to be "Expert" level right? And the first thing every new player learns is that mountains tap for R, Islands tap for U, etc. They've already removed that text from lands, so why not the whole textbox? Art is one of the things the game keeps getting better at, so why not exploit a good asset at the cost of something no one really cares about?
As much as I enjoy the idea of the Un lands being reprinted, A) it takes away the specialness of the unsets. and B) it would make my nice 3$ Islands worth less.
I simply hope that they start giving ZB+GS more cards. They exploded onto thte scene in Ravnica, and I've adored a;ll of their works since. I might even enjoy them mroe than avon, and for me, that is a lot.

You're confusing the Reserve List with the Restricted List...

Well Arabian Nights didn't have any rares, to be fair. It did have Uncommons that appeared at greater rarity than others.

Nor did Alliances, Homelands, Fallen Empires, etc. In those sets the rarity of uncommon 1 was considered rare. All cards that were Uncommon one in such sets or listed as rare in card databases such as gatherer. Library of Alexandria had the rarity of Uncommon 3 which means it had the same rarity of a common 1 which I believe was the rarity for the Arabian knights version of Mountain. If I remember correctly Force of Will was an Uncommon 2 in Alliances and as such is technically rarer in it's respective set than Library of Alexandria was. Of course Alliances was printed in many times the quantity of Arabian knights so it is technically more available overall.
Anyway when they changed the reserved list I thought the change was made to remove Alpha commons and uncommons from the list, not cards in expansions. Here is the article that explained the changes to the reserved list.
Quote from Randy Buehler »
Commons and uncommons from Limited Edition (Alpha and Beta) were removed from the reserved list due to overwhelming public support for this change.

...Mana Crypt.
Wow, now there's an idea. John Avon is a god.
Augustin, Rasputin, Bruna, Brago, Ojutai
Why not three - Force of will.
Guess that is on the reserved list though
Or is it? In any case, it's a blatantly overpowered card.
