It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
Yeva's Pros/Cons:
+ Gives your other green creatures flash
+ Can be reaminated or flickered
+ Easier to cast
- Is legendary
- Is smaller
Wurm Pros/Cons
+ Is larger and has trample
+ Can be populated
+ Can be Snapcaster-ed and flips Delver
- Much worse against Unsummon or Azorius Charm
- Harder to cast
So we can see that those two cards are actually not that different. Yeva doesn't see much play, but maybe some pros Wurm has does edge out Yeva.
Doesn't "stompy" mean basically aggro in that sense? I was not aware of the exact archetype "stompy" and used the name to refer to a deck that, in fact, stomps your face in without any subtlety. Also, I am not suggesting running 16 four-drops, I am merely pointing out the ton of good four-drops that exist. (Four Gideons? Really? Come on.)

lol, this.
This card is uber-efficient on its own as a pure beater at the 4-slot. On top of that it interacts very well with one of the formats mechanics, populate, and one of its most powerful cards, Snapcaster Mage.
It will see plenty of play. It will be good when it does. What more do you want?

I don't think anyone is upset at the power level of the card, but that power creep on creatures in Constructed have become so powerful that Advent of the Wurm seems somewhat "meh."
Personally, I look forward to playing it, however, I remember when Ravenous Baloth was considered OP. Now, we essentially get a Flash 5/5 creature with trample at the 4cc slot.
If you ever hold back on a game winning play, make sure to gloat about it loudly, often, and in excruciating detail; you'll feel like a bond villain (just don't be suprised when and if you're killed in an embarrassing or dumb manner).
yup generic GWfatties.dec
boring as **** tbh, but yeah i guess it speaks for the card quality that it will be a strong deck

Cube talk, design community and much much more!
Add green, add 3-4 selesnya charm and 2 of this guy.
3 snaps, 3 augurs, 3 angels.
BAM NEW BOOGIE MAN OF STANDARD
Both cards:
Have "flash"
Need Green to be cast
Both die to Ultimate Price, but survive Searing Spear
Both lose to Thragtusk unaided, but survives against Restoration Angel

Congratulations, you just made a deck with 16 4-drops to prove a point.
Give irony and sarcasm, when ignorance and stupidity is found.
The whip is kept for special occasions
And called it a stompy deck, a deck that was designed based on 1 and 2 drops.

Snapcaster Mage
Silverblade Paladin
Cast it after Sweeper EOT
This card is so incredably good. I want to play it.
Woot, my new signature!

That is kinda ridiculous....
T2: call of conclave 2/2 3/3
T3: loxodon smiter 3/3 3/3 4/4
T4: advent of the wurm 3/3 4/4 4/4 5/5
Pretty amazing curve
T5 Geist-Honored Monk (Adaptive Snapjaw)
Then T6 (how is the opponent still alive?) Prime Speaker Zegana
T1 Avacyn's Pilgrim
T2 Silverblade Paladin
T3 Advent of the Wurm
T4 Selesnya Charm, Rancor, GG
GG!
T2 call of the conclave
T3 advent
T4 intangible virtue +3 mana for rootborn defenses
Abrupt decay early or an azorius charm could throw a spanner in the works though
You dog . . . I was just going to say something like this. I always love the examples of games that are one against none.
