Monsters worthy of legend have always threatened the civilizations of the Multiverse. Heroes of many worlds must prove their worth by confronting these immense creatures. These heroes grow stronger with every encounter as they assail threats beyond their imagination.
Materializing out of the mist, monsters loom large on the horizon. Terrifying and relentless, these mythical creatures ravage the countryside. Enrage your monsters into jaw-dropping monstrosities and send them rampaging toward the enemy.
Duel Decks: Heroes vs Monters will contain six preview cards from this fall's Magic set Theros, making them your very first chance to play with the set's new cards!

Seems an odd theme. I'm guessing one mono-white deck and the other is probably some sort of green-based ramp deck...
On the Heroes side, there's 22 cards with "Hero" in the name. None are particularly interesting, except maybe Lin Sivvi and Crovax.
On the Monsters side, I'm guessing BUG fatties - mainly leviathans, baloths, and horrors, possibly with an eldrazi in there to move the product. Probably Kozilek or Ulamog since Emrakul is banned in EDH.
Why would they print Tarmogoyf in a Duel Decks set, which will have much wider distribution than Modern Masters, when it will be in Modern Masters (it was the first preview card for Modern Masters...), which will deliberately have a very conservative print run to keep the collectors happy?
Including it in this would also defeat the purpose of including it in Modern Masters (given that it's already Modern-legal to begin with), and seriously drop its value and anger the collectors they're appeasing with MM's limited print run.

Lapsed DCI Rules Advisor - Retired from playing but still hanging around
Awesome! Reminds me of this one time, when I killed Dracula and spread his body parts around Europe so he couldnt be resed, but he cursed me before death. So I had to, get this, track down his parts, res him, then kick his pale rear again. True story.

Baseless, given that Tarmogoyf is in Modern Masters. They wouldn't print it in this too.
Seems a little similar to Phyrexia vs the coalition if thats the case, but looks sweet

The OP posted an incorrect link. This is the correct one:

And yes, there are six Theros preview cards in this.
I'm basing this on the obvious herald art, if that's relevant whatsoever.
We're getting six. The link is tied to the actual announcement article now.
I wonder if the "Heroes getting stronger" refers to leveling returning.
