Doesn't that little part in the central top of the logo look a tad like the ROE or even WWK set symbol? I am not going to say anything more on the matter. >_<

Well, Ugin was a dragon after all, wasn't he?
Perhaps his work didn't always involve hedrons in trapping Eldrazi.
Niv always wanted to control the entire plane, so he possibly got that wish in this set. I wouldn't be surprised at a third version of him here if im correct.
Is it like the Triwizard tournament with a representative from each guild?
It's an interesting idea.

I'm sure a million people have already pointed this out, but the first letter of the names of the set in this block (Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash, Dragon's Maze) match up with the original. (Ravnica, Guildpact, Dissension.)
A nice little reference I guess, though I assume i'm not the only one who kinda saw it coming after gatecrash was revealed.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Oh all the dirty minds about what GTC symbol does with RTR symbol...
So the "Niv-Mizzet is scheming" is almost confirmed to be central. At least that's not Bolas... Jace is definitely going to have dracophobia afterwards. Hm, why maze if the subject is network of lines - guess "Dragon's Net" sounds not as belonging to fantasy.
Last I checked, Nicol Bolas was a dragon. Why is everyone assuming the named dragon is Niv?
Indeed. My wacky idea is that Bolas has been behind the scenes pulling strings and Niv began to catch wind of it in RTR. Bolas could undoubtedly create tension between the guilds if he wanted to; that tension we're seeing in RTR and presumbly GTC.
Ravnica gets pulled out of the bubble plane thing it's in and into the multiverse properly us my theory. It definitely involves a gate of some sort.....

the sharpest steel is tempered in fire!!! though the plane of mirrodin is lost, the fire of mirrans still burn!!!!!
The very first thing I thought when I saw "Dragon's Maze" was "casual product centered around Nicol Bolas", but then I was like "obscenities, it's Sinker!"
Looks like Ral's finally getting the love he deserves. Just going to go out on a limb and say Niv-Mizzet's totally messing with everything about Ravnica. Not to world-ending, Eldrazi-stomping portions, but he's doing his mad scientist thing to a whole new level.

If that's not Ral Zarek then I'm going to evolve every single one of my Magikarps that I've caught in the past decade and release them into the world to wreak havoc upon the masses. I can't keep taking this heartbreak for an Izzet walker.

The set symbol is the RTR symbol underneath the GTC symbol. Uhh... okay.
It seems somebody is ... putting the pieces together! Aho ho ho!
I think this is actually a great name for a set. It's not dull, and just the name of a place or thing (Innistrad, Zendikar, Ravnica or most planes at first visit). And, it's not making a pitiful attempt at making an artistic statement (Scars of Mirrodin). It's also using its context well, because while this name could have been used in other sets, we already associate a highly-intelligent Dragon with this world, and the name implies his involvement; it's not completely generic (Dark Ascension). But perhaps most importantly, it's not telling us the outcome of some crappy story right off the bat (New Phyrexia, Avacyn Restored).
What it's doing is hinting at things to come, to drive up curiosity and anticipation. Even if we have a solid idea of who's involved and a fair guess at the possible stakes, there's still a mystery, and I find that exciting.
I have to admit befofe i scrolled down and saw the tagline the name made me think this was a new side product.
And to all the people who think Ral might be in this......stop being stupid.Just stop. This is the confirmation that hes in.Since Innistrad if a planeswalker shows up in the announcment of a set....they're in the set. They give us this kind of stuff because it A)doesn't give anything about the set away. & B)doesn't confirm what the PW can do or its colors.
Just like we don't know if Gideon is staying mono-white or going white-red in GTC we don't know if Ral is going to blue-red or mono-red.Hell Ral could be mono-blue,though Jace cuts that chance down alot.

Ravnica gets pulled out of the bubble plane thing it's in and into the multiverse properly us my theory.
Your way late buddy.Like 6 years late. The end of Dissension was the guildpact being gone and Ravnica being open to the multiverse again.
Terrible, terrible name. much worse than return to ravnica. Gatecrash is only slightly better imo.
Really? I think Return to Ravnica is a much, much worse name. All it tells us is that we're going back to Ravnica. Dragon's Maze on the other hand hints that something is going on, but still leaves a mystery.

I'm pretty sure that happened when the Guildpact ended after the original block.
Sounds like Niv Mizzet's grand scheme was an "Inter-Guild friendship-building Competition held each year". All the guilds that tries to stop Niv's efforts go baaaaw!
It does not help that Ral looks so giddy happy.
Seriously, i am predicting that the Dragon's maze has a multiplanar portal.
first of all nicol bolas was confirmed not to be in return to ravnica. second it is so obvious check out this card's flavor text http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=277992 a labrynth without walls. also niv mizzet is not going to be the bad guy has anybody noticed how on the back of the flavor cards you get in pack instead of tokens says "niv - mizzet, the dragon guildmaster of the izzet league, has returned from his self-imposed exile. and he has a plan. armed with new knowledge of ravnica's very nature, the firemind has set his guild on a new project." the very nature of ravnica. also here is another flavor text that says they are doing investigations http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=290527.

How much more confirmation do you need?
Next you'll be telling me Jace and Niv-Mizzet won't be in RTR despite featuring in the "Announcing RTR" accompanying art.
Oh wait.
Gatecrash is a large set and will be drafted alone. RTR will not be drafted from Jan-Apr or so. Then it will be DGR.

No Bolas style scheming, no overarching plan, he's just insane.

Can't wait to see what the set is all about.
Then again we still need to see what Gatecrash is all about. Since that's likely where we'll actually start seeing some story right?
I honestly can't figure out what the plot of RtR is at all as of right now.
