Mods - Unsure if you prefer separate threads or combine the lot together. (other mtgs thread).
All the preview information is out on the IDW's entire 'Path of Vengeance' comic book series. This is of course is interesting from a perspective that there may be a chance of getting a IDW promo card which may see print in either Gatecrash or Dragon's Maze, but perhaps not very much in the way of fueling speculation as to anything we may see in these two sets. At the very least, storyline / flavor fiends will likely be happy.
Anywhoos - here's the full rundown (source here) :

Sweet! The cards will doubtless suck, but I'm liking the cover art.

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
The comics came out in our shop already so the promo card for Path of Vengeance #1 is Turnabout. Not a bad card, would be good for those Hightide players if they prefer the new frame. Otherwise just an OK promo card.
#1 - What's the dumbest idea you ever had?
#2 - 15/15 for 15?
#1 - Make it dumber
#2 - Give it protection from removal and counter?
#1 - DUMBER!
#2 - Add Timewalk?
#1 - DAMN IT MAN, I SAID DUMB!! DUMB !!!
#2 - It destroys everything when it attacks.... And wait, I have a friend who plays mill decks... I want to beat him too.
#1 - Excellent! Recess is over, go back and learn sex-ed with the other 6th graders.

Are the comics any good? I read the Path of the Planeswalker II and enjoyed it. I hope that this series is as good if not better, since PotP is more like an anthology anyways.
Im pretty sure most people agree that they are pretty god awful, but everybody has there own tastes.
I wouldn't go so far as to say god awful...but they aren't the best comics I'm reading right now.
Definitely not as good at Path of the Planeswalker I or II. But I think they are worth reading, if a little slow-going.

Current decks:

I like POV 3's art.. 2's is kinda.. poor.
It just goes to show great art can be ruined by bad perspective.

3 is clearly the best, and hopefully a creature from DGM.
2 is too small for me to make out anything.
Its the way he's standing, its like he's doing an antigravity lean with a flying camera above head.. its just odd.

FLGS reported earlier today that this one is out this week! The usually get their books on Tuesday afternoon - can confirm then.
Edit:
I guess it is Turnabout. Meh.
I'm a bit more optimistic. Isn't #1 looks like Spell Snare?
If that's the case I'm getting 4 copies.
Currently Playing:
Standard: Jund Midrange
Modern: Mono-U Faeries, Soul Sisters, Scapeshift
Legacy: Goblins, Dredge, BUG Agent
EDH: Zur, Azusa, Gisela, Hanna
My first thought was the far-less exciting Whiplash Trap, but I can see Spell Snare. That would be pretty cool.
Turnabout? Huh. Better than Whiplash Trap, worse than Spell Snare.

I'm getting a pretty Grixis vibe from these promos (Arrest notwithstanding).
Yeah the art looks more like Spell Snare than Turnabout, oh well too bad for that.
I don't see the pattern, but it does seem more Grixis, I guess?
The pattern is that out of the 10 cards we know, 1 is white and 0 are green. Blue, Black, and Red are the order of the day.
It's all a conspiracy by Nicol Bolas! He's secretly controlling IDW Comics!
Or the main character is likely UR and black tends to be the color of choice for the antagonists.
Oh sure, bring LOGIC into it.
