Mask is just better than Sundial (except against Countertop and Snapcaster Mage, Countertop can counter you with a land, and thus you want the CMC of the spell to cut the number of options they have. Against a Snapcaster, losing a counter fight by ending your turn exile the spells, and prevents Snappy from giving them flashback.)
The other good thing about mask is it opens many other doors for you: Myr Superion, Skaab Ruinator, Serra Avenger, ect. (Think things that would also be good to Aether Vial into play.)

What's the big deal? You could have played multiple Righteous Avengers for years now.
i have been tuning this deck for more than two months and im just about to throw the towel. Casual its pretty fun but for legacy, this type of deck cant keep up a consistant play. one game you go wild turn 2 and some you build up till turn 5-6 to land a dreadnought only to have a spot removal waiting or your opponent will simply have is field established. Whit the coming of RtR...its going to be worst....trust me
4 phyrexian dreadnought
4 hunted phantasm
4 eater of days
4 torpor orb
2 sundial of the infinite
4 fabricate
4 vapor snag
4 propaganda
4 ponder
2 thirst for knowledge
3 maze of ith
4 seat of the synod
3 buried ruin
12 islands
Whaddya think?
Sea Drake?
Force of will?
Ancient Tomb?
City of Traitors?
Grim Monolith?
Your deck should have a way to make a turn one Dreadnought.
