1) Summoner's Bane
I really like this card, of course it isn't as good as Mystic Snake, but in this format I have really liked it and I am running one in my Grixis deck on line and it has worked wonder. Won four standard 8-mans on the back of this card.
2) Rise from the Grave
In every deck I play running black (Jund Valakut, Grixis, Vampires) I play one of these, it is so good in the sense that in this meta it can snatch Baneslayers, Broodmates, Seige-gangs, and Sphinx of Jwar Isles pretty easily. I am yet to reanimate an Iona, but in one match I reanimated my opponents Ob Nixilis and then killed him with land fall since I had my valakuts killed by Volcanic Ultimatum.
3) Lavalanche
I run this card in my Jund Valakut deck, it is the main reason I splash black and it works very well. I have not lost a single match to Bant, Boros, or Eldrazi decks because of this card...unlike Earthquake it does two major things: hits fliers (Baneslayer, Broodmate, Emeria Angel, bird tokens, Bird of Paradise equipped with sledges, and Sphinxes) and it only hits your opponent, which is paramount against Jund
4) Necrogenesis
I love this card as a sideboard against Vampires and it is a card that also is good against Crypt combo and versions of Boros that run Hellspark Elemental and it is mildly good versus RDW lists since it stops Hellspark Elemental, Hell's Thunder, and provides blockers for Goblin Guide and Plated Geopede.
5) Intimidation Bolt
This is the only card on my list I have not tested at all, but I was on hiatus from magic while it was released, so I don't know of it being tested or anything. It seems as if it could be powerful against RDW, Jund, Boros, and nearly every deck in standard. I would run it on the board at least in UWR, but I love it mostly because I was a big Angelfire fan and this card would have been the nuts in there.
day of judgement not have a home?! its a mass removal spell. It has a clear home in control decks like U/W and tier 1 jacerator

I haven't tried it succesfully but usually if your opp. plays white he will path the creature you targeted to get a land and attack (boros bushwacker, *cough cough*). But im not completely ruling out the option of using intimidation bolt but for 3 mana there is better removal
2) Baneslayer Angel (if you comment about this you have not got a good knowledge of competitive T2)
3) Sphinx of Jwar Isle (if you comment about this you have not got a good knowledge of competitive T2)

He obviously didn't read the thread title.
Agony warp is a HAUS, so I second that notion. against Boros, RDW, and Jund, it basically says fog one creature, kill another. Seriously, If more grixis decks ran it, I don't think Aggro would be as strong a presence as it is now. Swerve, Agony Warp, Lightning Bolt, Blightning and Essence Scatter/Negate-
It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.
I would like to address the reason why I think a few haven't seen play yet, particularly cards I know I've used myself:
1. Sphinx of lost truths has fallen out of favor for mind spring in some lists due to the fact mandatorally discarding things you may need isn't particularly fun. I know, I know "just DISCARD LANDS LULZ", but that happens a lot more in theory than reality.
2. Magma Phoenix is an amazing card that HAS seen play in RW valakut before. however, recurring it is a slow, ardeous process most of the time. it does effectively put your opponent in a hard place though.

Actual Truth:
"You heard it here folks:
Anyone who disagrees with "Jack from NC" is an idiot."-The Dead Weatherman
Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

This card is horrible, it even gets to be last pick in draft. My online collection has over 20. This card is just so bad it's unbelievable.

You obviously have not tested it, and I will take this card in draft time to time...and I have a 1900 rating so I am obviously terrible. It is fine in standard and in many cases I like it over Essense Scatter, and so many cards are terrible in limited, but good in standard. So nice comment brah
I don't understand what walls have to do with Sarkhan?
Sarkhan Vol is best when you can protect him while using the + ability. If you can keep him from getting toasted, his ultimate is awesome. At least I assume that is what he was getting at.
i would love to see someone put vengeful rebirth to good use... i gave it a try in a RGW deck and it worked fairly well...
Yeah, it could be good with a way to easily pitch cards to the graveyard, but I can't think of any it T2 right now. Too bad that the two best cards for it to target don't stay in your graveyard though (Progenitus and Darksteel Colossus)
- so far has not quite lived up to the hype. seems strong but we've yet to see a truly dominant Cobra deck emerge.
2) Sphinx of Lost Truths
- this is an exceptional creature for blue that is held back by lack of a good deck to run him. imagine how much you would have loved this creature in past formats?
Lotus cobra doesn't have a good home because you'll lose if you build around it, and won't take full advantage of it if you don't. Sphinx of lost truths will be a lot better when blue gets more good creatures to draw removal away from their big threats.
It's understandable blue control players would be shocked and in denial at the notion of this card, since their decks have been dominating multiple formats for an eternity yet they've curiously never once had to deal with any counter-hosers that weren't ineffectual, narrow CRAP.
I think he was joking, and even if, He means that BSA doesn't have a solid home, she's just everywhere thats profitable/convenient.
Yea I know. Before he was grilling people for their opinions on BSA and then all of a sudden on the bandwagon of realization that almost every single deck that runs white runs BSA.
And you're correct she is everywhere that plays white. If you splash white she's there. If you run white she's there. So I don't know what this whole BSA angel debate was about in the first place lol. As I have said it before and I'll say it again.
Baneslayer Angel could be hungover, slightly blind, and texting while flying and win a match. Nothing needs to be built for her or around her and she doesn't need to "fit"in a certain deck. You get her out in any deck you either answer it or you lose.

So one sided, so awesome, so bad with BBE

I'm sitting on a stack of these speculating. Every time I see it in a deck I get giddy.

Agreed with World Queller. So much potential! But like most things, finds himself on the wrong side of removal and competes with BSA at 3WW.
