Denarius is projected ar 10.6 with Bladwin at 7.2
Denarius averages more points per game and the experts avg rank is 26 to baldwin's 41.
I say Daenarius Moore is the the good call.
well, the only reason why i picked up Baldwin is because of his increased workload since Rice went down.
Normally, I would just throw Denarius in the slot. But his last 2 outings have been just ok. no double digit scores in my league. (which is saying something since I have random bonus points enabled for certain feats)
has Denarius been affected by an injury or something? or just a minor slump?
I still feel like Moore is better, but its close to splitting hairs at this point. Also, Macius' Axiom of Fantasy #6.
"When choosing between 2 almost equal players, its more likely the one you dont choose has the better game."
Also, on the note of points, I think if I were hosting the league, I'd make one change. Pick 6's and Fumble Recovery Touchdowns shouldnt count against the D/ST. Its the offense that allowed the point. However the XP should count as that is the D/ST. Someone brought it up and I really get the point and like it.

really? I didnt know that, but then I need to realize that yahoo isnt the only one.... -_-
yup.....it doesnt give you the option. Only point increments. And Im not a fan of Yahoo. Always here ppl complain about lineups not saving and I dont find it particularly user friendly. Plus it doesnt give me the option for some of the bells and whistles like my weekly awards
The D/STs on NFL don't take pick sixes or fumbles recovered for touchdowns into account. I've always found it to be the most user friendly site and it has some really in-depth options.
EDH is like French fries: some people like waffle cut, crinkle cut, or plain old straight cut, and while there's slight flavor difference and personal preference, at the end of the day they're still fries.
so, the Lions are atop the NFC north. thank you eagles for beating the pack for us and what a big win on the road against the bears.
Indeed we are.
Moore did crap for me, but luckily I just left Baldwin in. And speaking of a random pick, I grabbed the Vikings D/st off of waivers, and put them in instead of the Colts. Good move. lol.

D/ST is, IMHO, Team Defense and Special Teams. Sometimes, your offensive players have to defend their own end zone. I prefer it that way. Also, you'd also have to "not count safeties" in your calculations (and this year, there have been quite a few). Another thing too, say you line up for the Extra Point, this is your kicking team, i.e.: special teams, and they bobble the snap, and the kicker ends up running it in for 2. Well, do you give the 2 points to the kicker? Or do you give the 2 points to the Defense/Special Teams. I won't even get in to the issues of punt returns for TDs by Wide Receivers that tend to play (Sproles, D. Jackson, etc).
No, I think the best way IS to have points allowed count against the D/ST, as any player at any time may be called upon to defend their goal line. It is TEAM DEFENSE, not just that teams defensive players.
I watched the Lions' game and I have to say I never did watch one of their games (Sorry Lions fans, I didn't meant to unsettle you... I swear I didn't do it on porpuse). So, I finally get why they call Calvin Megatron and I became a fan myself. That 1-2 Punch of Megatron and Reggie Bush made me smile... what a great team
no need to apologize for not watching a game
but yea, Megatron is beyond beast. He actually did have a couple near catches which, is rare. Even with defenders hands in the way. Getting someone like Reggie Bush is turning out to be a godsend. if teams want to keep double covering Megatron, Reggie has great hands and speed to be a receiver too.
And Joique Bell is a damn work horse. That guy can barrel down and just plow through piles and get that extra 2-4 yards when you think the first 2 tackles got him.
Reggie Bush made Megatron better. Teams still stick their best guys on him, but now the lions have a decent RB, they arent a single threat team anymore.
Also, Go to hell Miami. If you could of not gotten that INT and thrown maybe 20 more yards, I'd probably of won. Then again, had I started CAR D/ST I would of won. Oh well, such is fate.... so close, yet so far

Good game. I got pretty animated at work when I heard the call on that pick, confused my coworker a bit. Pretty exciting finish to a fantasy game.
Fun fact: I had planned on picking up the Bucs defense if our game was looking close yesterday, then discovered bench players lock as well in this league.

Yea. I was kinda surprised by the Pats bye week. Glennon liked Wright, so I took a chance and it kinda backfired. I was expecting 4 points out of him and got 2.
I kinda want to tempt fate and play CAR this week. The had a low scoring game on sunday, but managed to stymie the 49ers. I wonder if they have that kinda magic against the Pats (begin whitemage glaring at me for talking bad about the Pats )
(begin whitemage glaring at me for talking bad about the Pats )
Haha, no no you are good. This year's Patriot's offense still has to prove it can do what it did against the Steelers on a week-to-week basis. If "Gronk Smash" is on then maybe. If I was a betting man I say this will be a low scoring game. I admit I don't know alot about the Panthers except that they hadn't beaten anyone and I mean anyone before the Niners Sunday. However, the 49ers offense has been much less consistent than the Patriots have been.
I think this is the kind of offense that is perfect for a Belichick coached defense to prepare for especially with a bye week. My understanding is they get 0 yards, 0 yards, and then can get 60. Patriot's don't usually allow the big play because they are well coached on keeping their gaps and lanes. This will also help stop huge Cam Newton scrambles, *GULP*, at least I hope.
While I appreciate the gesture, I stopped playing after Ravnica. Truth is, if it werent for running these leagues, Id have retired from MTGS a long time ago. I run these leagues because I enjoy doing it (most of the time) and shouldnt be rewarded for that. But if you insist, a simple thank you is more than enough.

ESPN's "expert" rankings and projections suck balls. That whole company is a joke
I never said I used ESPN. In fact, I learned to not trust ESPN'S rankings.

I didnt trust mine last week and started the Saints over the Panthers. It was a bad idea not to listen to my gut.
540 Peasant cube- Gold EditionSomething SpicyMy RB are complete and utter crap.
Honestly, if I had a consitant 10-15 point guy, I'd likely be 6-3 or better.
Im hoping Ivory can do me some good.
