The worst part is that it's only somewhat better than a $.05 land in half the decks out there AND it will probably get reprinted in the next block. It's still nice to have that feeling of completeness that I don't have the joy of having... it and Mana Drain are really the only cards I want and don't own.
Grim Tutor was the last item on my list. Was a good feeling to finally complete it.
So then I had to make a new list of cards I have the wrong version of...
On that note, I really need to upgrade my Ravages of War to English.
Edit: I should really be studying for my Security+ cert this afternoon... Anyone take that test recently?

Oh that's even worse than Delta. At least Delta is the best card for what it does. Grim isn't even a good tutor... acceptable, but far from the best and compared to others, nowhere worth what it costs in terms of game play. I hate cards that are only expensive because of rarity.

I had Diabolic Tutor in a life-centric EDH deck so I had the barest justification for it.
I've had my fetchlands forever, sans a small break when they started messing with Extended's rotation. When Onslaught's rotation out of extended was approaching I sold all my fetches, then they changed their mind and I bought them back at a small loss. Some time after that I started looking at EDH or Legacy (can't recall which) and figured I'd hold onto them.
I loved opening ONS packs. ONS/MIR was T2 when I started playing, and they had such cool cards in them.

Just like Gaslpanic said, I too hate it that Grim tutor is only expensive since it's rare, not because of it's good. It's the only really expensive card I'm lacking from my Mishra (well, I need fetches, but none of the is alone really expensive).

What's the most non-infinite damage that anyone has ever done?
I attacked and (finally) connected (after a bunch of chump blocking) with a Serra Avatar that was 21,000 something in power due to multiple turns with it and Wall of Reverence.

I pulled off the Type 2 equivalent of that a few years ago with an Ajani Golmane token (Never meant for him to go ultimate) and 2 walls. I think I hit for 800-900 or something.

Here is mine on cockatrice with Patron of the Orochi deck. going nuts, I think it was turn 6 or so. I had Genesis Waved for 30 then hit E-wit and enough mana doublers to Wave most my deck out. Read the chat to see what is happening, but basically a Gelatinous Genesis with X= 306 with haste sources in play.
It was a game that I vaguely remember for any of the other details. I just remember there being two of us left, he was playing non-Wrath colors, and my life total spiraled into insanity while he kept putting out creatures and I couldn't kill them all. I seem to remember that I was close to getting killed with general damage too (which I've had happen while at 3,000+ life in Trostani).
A few places are selling them, but they are really expensive or not in stock to order. I paid $100 for mine last time and it would be nice to get that deal again, but $130 is the cheapest I've found.

I only bought the Junk precon last time, and was fortunate enough to get the needed singles before they got stupid expensive. I bought the entire set of Planechase precons, and although I haven't really used them that much, the singles that spiked have paid for the set. I just traded the Strix for a Scroll Rack the other night.

I think guardian does a deal if you pre-order all of them, which they did last time. I think it was like %10 off MSRP.

This is why I don't play creature decks.

Do you really want that money staying in Portland?
I'm just kidding, support the local scene.
