Also, I was wondering about inter-clan acitivities, like clan mafia wars and such? Are there supposed to be those things too? *looks at out clan rep Phil*
Also, just letting you guys know, I won't be on 'trice this Saturday either. I'll be having my b-day party then and haven't still managed to get my 'trice working. Damn you Woogerworks.
There hasn't been a mafia wars in awhile. If a new one shows up, we will participate, I think... First I need to figure out what mafia is...
There is also another event that has been recently scheduled, but hasn't been setup yet. We will compete in that as well.

Plow Under doesn't really make sense to me other than making people mad, which I don't want to do.
As for Rite of Ruin, I always thought the card was neat, but I don't really need that.
Any other suggestions? I'm mostly looking for cards that can either increase my mana production or cards that I can funnel all that mana into. I still really like that you suggested Genesis Wave, don't know how I missed that.
I think it's a great mechanic. I tend not to like "build around me generals" but they're abilities seem broad enough so they would work well in multiple strategies.

I've only seen the two, but I like them. I was in the process of building a Grxis, trible vampire deck with Garza Zol, Plague Queen. I might use the new commander, instead. She seems to have more utility, as opposed to being just another beat stick.

And better artwork, I actually really love what they're doing with the general tax, I can't wait to build the new vamp in a grixis control type thing.

She's pretty strong in general. I am not looking forward to a straight discard/exile build with her at the helm. She also slides into a dredge strategy well, as well as voltron, stax, combo, and control.

Agreed. I might scrap the tribal idea, in favor of a discard build. My play group has some pretty heavy hitters, so power tends to trump flavor. Sad to say, but true. I was thinking of doing a discard deck, anyways. I want to build too many decks, that's the problem. haha
I am definitely picking up all of the new precons. I slept on some of the originals and I've been kicking myself over it, ever since.
I'm thinking she'll be good with the plethora of super value spells those colors bring, just not sure where to take the list, don't want to make it straight spell slinger, doesn't seem right, I want a strong grixis control list, but how to work her as a finisher hmmm, also a double combat card cast from hand then swinging to cast insurrection then to swing with everything seems cool.

I really like the way they made the commander tax a bonus. My first thoughts went to Erratic Portal and Chorus of the Conclave, although by themselves there's already a lot of things to play around with. Proshh in particular is nice for both being a sac outlet and bringing a bunch of friends to eat.
I'm sad it's not a Dega colored (B/R/W) Vampire Legend because I've been waiting for one.. of course I think I'd be disappointed if that particular vampire was those colors. Oh well, still waiting on that Vampire Legend.
What are these new legendaries everyone is talking about? Where can I find them?
There should be tons of threads about them in the Rumor Mill. Also check the Unreleased Card thread in the Commander section of MTGS. I'm pretty sure people have posted pictures.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can quite say the same about my Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund just yet.
So out of curiosity, and since I figure this is probably the best place to ask, does anyone here do anything quirky with their decks.
For example, all of my decks basic lands must have matching art, usually by the same artist too. But in addition, I also need to have all of my lands from the character's home plane. For example, my Rafiq of the Manydeck has all of the Bant basics, but my Thraxymundar has all of the Grixis basics. Then I get to decks don't have a set home plane, like Animar, Soul of Elements or Skullbriar, the Walking Grave. They get plane neutral lands, usually from the Core Sets. However, recently, I did break the rule. I decided Skullbriar, the Walking Grave can get some Innistrad lands since he kind of fits on Innistrad and my Karador, Ghost Chieftain got Avacyn Restored basics on the basis that I'd barely get to use them for EDH otherwise.

I don't get that Vorthos about them, but all my basics have to match and appeal to me aesthetically. I do try to match them to the commander, too. I just don't go for the block specific lands. I do have a special place in my heart for the snow-covered lands, new and old. Especially this Snow-Covered Plains.
Hey all, just thought I'd check this out seeing as I only play EDH anymore.
And I must say, I LOVE Proshh. I am not going to decide on him until I see all the other cards, but so far, he sounds amazing.

If you're always worried about crushing the ants beneath you...you won't be able to walk.
I only use foil old border basics in my decks for basics, preferably ones from urza's saga like this http://magiccards.info/us/en/347.html I have urza's saga foil plains mountains and swamp too, no islands sadly..
