I have been playing around with the food tokens, and they aren't hard to make at all. Either effect is at great cost in this deck, but this can give you a 7/7 turn 5, which isn't bad at all.

You right. He comes out silly early. When the spoilers first started coming out, I was trying to take black and blue to make food tokens and animate them into creatures for a "Food Fight" deck. Now it is seeming Blue-Green will definitely be the way to go.

Turn 5? Curious Pair's adventure, Gilded Goose, Trail of Crumbs, you can get this on turn 3 with some luck. Or if you can discard Feasting Troll King on turns 1 or 2 then this makes enough food to reanimate him.
