This spell is literally attached to a 2/2 body in the same set, never mind that it's way overcosted compared to every other baseline. Why was this printed??
I'm just worried about what this might presage for future metrics. At this cost and speed, it actually would have made sense to me if it cantripped. At least it would have matched Murder's metric.
On the other hand, in a limited environment this creature-dependent, I can understand why WotC is reluctant to put cheap creature removal at common. (And considering Walk the Plank, maybe metrics aren't quite as at much risk as we're fearing.)
I mean how many 2/2 vanilla creatures for 2 do you have to see before you realize that not every card was meant to be used in constructed? Is it just because this doesn't come attached with "discard a card" and cost 6, or "exile a creature and a land" and cost 6? You get red removal spells in the 4 cost slot that no one would dream of playing, but if a simple destroy target creature spell doesn't cost 1B and have instant speed, it's an insult to everybody somehow. It's draft chaff, don't freak out, man, everything is gonna be ok.
