Oh wow.

THAT is a weird card. Could be better than Negate? Exiles Monastery Swiftspear against a tapped out opponent, Young Pyromancer or Snapcaster Mage in Modern.

This hits so many staples.
Standard it's probably just going to be like Jace and Swiftspear, but in Modern, hoo boy.
Past in Flames, Snapcaster, Summer Bloom, Spellskite, Pestermite, Exarch, Bob, Maelstrom Pulse, Azusa, Scapeshift.
I don't play Legacy or keep up with it, but I'm sure this card is relevant against a lot of cards in that format as well.

Tron and Affinity obviously have no issues with this but what lands are other decks playing to produce colorless?
Cavern of Souls and Desolate Lighthouse?

Are we gonna start playing painlands again?

It can be stick'd, FWIW. Then again, the Eldrazi can just bin it leaving you with an empty stick. (I guess that would be a tongue depresser?)

Does anyone else think that this could actually be incredibly helpful ALONGSIDE Jace? I mean, Jace allows you to exile creatures with power 2 or 3 now. Just my 2 cents

Pays for itself with Doubling Season. Can be put on the stick, and get around that colorless cost.

Please tell me it was called Eldritch Charm or Non-Euclidian Charm or Yonic Charm in development. (More proof tropes are not bad: Lovecraft's prose was so purple it was practically ultraviolet.)
