Oh, man. My Elves are going to love this in Modern. I'll be able to transform the enchantment itself by about turn 2, and then it's off to the races. A race they'll win. Because they're Elves, and they're better than you.
Turn 2 Flip:
Turn 1: Forest, Mana Elf.
Turn 2: Forest, Heritage Druid, Any Elf, Any Elf. Play Enchantment and flip it at end of turn.
Turn 3 Flip:
Turn 1: Forest, Any Elf*.
Turn 2: Forest, Any Elf*, Any Elf*.
Turn 3: Forest, Any Elf*, Play Enchantment and flip it at end of turn.
*Any one of those elves needs to be a mana elf.
Elves can get this going stupid easy turn 2 as long as they get Heritage Druid. Without Heritage Druid they can still do it easily on turn 3. So yes, it's not just possible to do it before turn 4 it's easy. I think you're missing that the flip trigger happens at the end of the turn, so it can flip the same turn it's played.
Harvest Season may be one to use in the Dinosaur deck, too. We'll see. With Elves, I can get 4 creatures and 6 lands out by the end of turn 2. I've used it to have all 18 lands in my deck out on turn 4 before (had 8 creatures and 2 lands out, couldn't swing for the win, two Seasons in hand, tapped everything via HD and got 8 lands apiece).
huh... while I sense a bit of hyperbole in here, I really have to wonder... Is it possible for modern elves to trigger this card before turn 4?
So far, what I'm seeing is
Route 1: T1 Dork, T2 This, T3 3 more elves, T4 Transform
Route 2: T1 Heritage, T2 two more elves and this , T3 one more elf, T4 transform.
This seems like a legit and good step to hearing those of us who want to abolish the reserved list. Part of it stipulates no functionally identical cards, so this is a clever alternative. I hope to see more of these functional "sort of" reprints in the future!

T1: Forest, Elvish Mystic
T2: Forest, Heritage Druid, Dwynen's Elite, tap Druid, Elite, and token for GGG, play Growing Rites of Itlimoc.
If they don't kill one of your Elves by that point, it transforms at the end of turn 2.
Dwynen's Elite is still a bit of a sleeper card, I think, but is far superior to Nettle Sentinel for Modern Elves. Same body, and the extra creature it provides combos better with Heritage Druid and also provides a chump blocker and more mana via Elvish Archdruid and so on. If you can get an Elvish Mystic or Llanowar Elves along with a Heritage Druid and Dwynen's Elite in your opening hand, which isn't all that far-fetched, you can do amazing things.
Lately, I've been using Harvest Season in that Elf deck. Doing what I described above, I can have 4 creatures and 6 lands out at the end of turn 2.
So far, what I'm seeing is
Route 1: T1 Dork, T2 This, T3 3 more elves, T4 Transform
Route 2: T1 Heritage, T2 two more elves and this , T3 one more elf, T4 transform.
