Argh! I want to know the cost. I like this quite a bit, if it's got a reasonable cost. Decent body and a reusable ability that helps out at any stage of the game would be great.

This is the best card of the set, and it costs 3 mana. This will be played in modern and will likely have a 15-20 dollar price tag. This is in response to mos-maskinen.

At the end of the day this is a 3/2 creature that gains 2 life, and exiles a creature from a graveyard.

Then your opponent takes his turn.

This is strictly anti-aggro sideboard material at best. It is outclassed in its abilities at any other point of the game by a TON of cards not limited to Scavenging Ooze and Kitchen Finks.

If a card is ONLY good as a turn 2 play, its not that good of a card.

Yeah, but "dies to removal" means about as much these days as "a lake is some measure bigger than a pond." It's basically meaningless. Everything in the game dies to the right kind of removal. Creature removal is plentiful and cheap, so it's not like this guy dies harder to it than any other non-hexproof/indestructible creature. If he's cheap and they have to use burn to deal with him, it means he's enough of a threat to spend a Bolt on, which I'd rather have than one going to the dome.

If this creature is cheap enough, he's a decent threat with a reusable ability relevant at most stages of the game. Not a worldbeater, but I rather like the design. Though I agree that +1/+1 counters would be much better, though possibly a bit too much, considering it could be every turn that he's getting permanently buffed while also hatin' on graveyards.
