While my first instinct was for commander... Tron may get some real use out of this. Instead of slamming down a turn 3 Karn, you start slamming down threat after threat as early as turn 4.

One of Tron's problems is that it sometimes have too much mana and nothing in hand to cast. This card could help the deck.

I can see standard Marvel running a copy or two mainboard. The activation cost shouldn't be an issue since Marvel's Plan B is securing the mana to hard cast a cheap Emrakul or Ulamog when Aetherwork fails.

Can anyone think of a race of maybe machines that need a new portal? And the plane tezz was last known to be at.....seems to me like phyrexians might be interested in this.

not good enough. People will think tron with this card, but it's too slow. 14 mana before your first activation, and then you're not even doing much as emrakul without it's cast trigger can still easily lose.

If the artifact itself was 4 or 5 mana it might have been good, not it's just too slow. Not even mentioning all the vulnerabilities this has to stuff that counters searching, artifacts, triggers etc. Tron is already bad against stony silence, don't want to add this as vulnerability.
