Commentary
Dominaria continues to climb out of the hole, posting its sixth consecutive week of growth. Dominaria had a massive slump, and while it still remains top heavy, there's starting to be light at the end of the tunnel. All it needs is to add some more value in the middle, spreading its wealth more towards the average rare, and it very well might redeem itself.

Commentary
Search for Azcanta takes a strong step forward this week, nearing the $20 mark. This is in part due to the new Dimir mechanic from the upcoming Guilds of Ravnica being revealed: Surveil. It's a twist on scry, allowing you to put cards straight into the graveyard - something that makes Search for Azcanta work even quicker. Although Search for Azcanta was already a top card, this is a good time to remind you that as we spoil a new set, individual card values can sway drastically. Something as simple as a strong removal card, for instance, could have a major impact and send Vraska's Contempt into a valuation free fall.

Commentary
Prices continue to fall, and we're at prime rotation buying time. Gideon of the Trials, Hazoret the Fervent, and Nissa, Steward of Elements have each hit their all-time lowest price this week. If they fail to get any foothold in Modern or the eternal formats, they might drop lower over time, but I even then, I wouldn't expect them to fall much further. If you've been eyeing any of these three, now's a good time to pick them up.

Commentary
One of the small drawbacks of using market price is that if a card wasn't sold during the week, its market price will remain the same. While this implies stagnation, it's not as readily visible or completely reliable. This week, however, most of Invocations had sales, and the stagnation here is directly visible. The average Invocation masterpiece has a price tag just over $50, but only a single card - Daze - managed to move more than $1. Prices have plateaued across the board, and they will remain where they are for some time.

Commentary
As expected, movement here is directly dependent on the card's value in non-Standard formats. This is especially true for Modern-playable cards, such as Whir of Invention and Walking Ballista. Whir of Invention sees significant play in Lantern Control and has even begun making a splash in some KCI decks. Walking Ballista is a key card in Hardened Modular. Others, such as Metallic Mimic, can survive by being a casual all star with occasional eternal play. The rest, like Ajani Unyielding, will fall to abysmal levels with only a slight hint of their Standard life price.

Commentary
For Kaladesh, most of its eternal-playable cards are at the top of the price list. Even if they fall, they do so much slower than the rest of the set. As Kaladesh sheds its price, it's doing so from the bottom, and we're seeing crazy shenanigans in value. Hit-over-miss has peaked over 800%, as there's only a few things left in value, and we're even further reliant on getting an Invention. The miss value has fallen to $20, so if you're looking at picking up one last box in hopes of an Invention - don't do it. For the love of all things marketable, stay away.

Commentary
One could get lost looking at such a large table of numbers, but the result is the same as Invocations: Inventions remains where it's been, and will continue to hold steady for some time.
Parting Thoughts...
As mentioned above, Guilds of Ravnica has begun its spoiler season. Official previews start Monday, and a keen seller will watch them closely. Shake ups will inevitably happen, but it's the major jumps we want to look for. It only takes one Felidar Guardian to make a Saheeli Rai skyrocket, and so too can it be with our current Standard. A more recent example lies with Tendershoot Dryad. It wasn't even on our tables until Dominaria's saproling and token strategies were revealed, but then proceeded to increase by 1,000% in less than two weeks. An opportunity like this doesn't come often, so you have to be vigilant. Watch the spoiler discussions, filter out the overly hyped comments, and see where the consensus lands. Once you've found your suspect, move quickly before you're left behind.
