Overview
There was not a whole lot of movement with Amonkhet. While the set stands to gain the most from Hour of Devastation, there will be many more packs of Amonkhet opened as people play with the new set. Expect prices to stay stable before settling into the inevitable decline that awaits all sets.

Overview
As we discussed last week, the new Amonkhet Invocations from Hour of Devastation added significant value to the Invocations as a group. Of the ten most valuable Invocations, six are from the new batch. These include Thoughtseize, which gets impressive new art, perennial value card Damnation, and The Scarab God. Some of these will come down in value as supply increases, but overall expect the Invocations to remain solid.

Overview
There was a major spike in the Kaladesh Inventions Pithing Needle this week following a buyout. We shall see in a couple of weeks whether the price comes back down. This may have been a true buyout, in which case prices will remain high, but it may also just be a fluke shortage of supply. The Masterpiece Series as a whole (Amonkhet Invocations, Kaladesh Inventions, and Zendikar Expeditions) is subject to higher levels of short-term volatility than the other sets. This is due in part to the significantly lower supply of cards relative to rares/mythics from their respective blocks. The Kaladesh Inventions saw several major swings this week beyond Pithing Needle. Mox Opal, after last week's spike, had a major correction this week. I expect most of this week's big increases will see similar drops within the next week or so.

Overview
With Hour of Devastation hitting the streets, Shadows Over Innistrad may see some activity as new decks develop, but as with Eldritch Moon, we do not expect a lot of drastic shifts. At this point, there is so much Shadows Over Innistrad inventory in the market that it would take a major new deck posting some serious tournament wins to shake up the prices. Enough people are going to try making Solemnity/Thing in the Ice a thing (unfortunately) that we might see a blip, but not this week.

Overview
Unlike Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon, which have a graveyard theme that plays well with Hour of Devastation, Oath of the Gatewatch does not interact with the new set enough to expect a boost from the new set. Nothing changed this week, and I doubt we will see any dramatic changes in the coming weeks either.
