Amonkhet is definitely cooling off. The previous two weeks saw a climb in the set's value, but that trend has ended. Now, these prior gains have dissipated and the set is back on its previous track. Spikes always happen around major tournaments, and the Pro-Tour is the epitome of this.
Although the vast majority of cards declined this week, many of the hard spikes we saw in the past two weeks are still above their initial standing. Dread Wanderer, Liliana's Mastery, and Plague Belcher all remain well above their price a month ago, even with this week's dips. These cards remain strong standard staples; the market is simply correcting from the Pro-Tour rush.

Daze shot skyward, jumping over 40% in value. This jump is single-handed responsible for a positive gain in the Invocation set's value.
Force of Will has been on a strong steady decline since release, but may have finally found a settling point. It will continue to decline, of course, but perhaps now it'll start following the set trend instead of taking massive hits. It seems to have perched in the 180-190 range - a far cry from the $300 preorder prices we saw, but still easily crushing every other card in the set.

Aether Revolt saw very little movement this week. Even Fatal Push seems to have taken a breather in its climb. The only notable exception was Metallic Mimic, which continued its rise. Much like Fatal Push, Mimic's cross-format viability continues to spur extra interest..
For having the worse half of Inventions, Aether Revolt is holding on pretty strong. Even the boxes that don't contain inventions can come close to having a full return on investment. That's quite notable for a set four months after release.

Given the large price jumps that Kaladesh has seen in the previous few weeks, one would expect some stronger movement as the market rebalances on these new prices. The opposite is true, however, as no card changed over 5% in value, and only two cards moved more than twenty-five cents. Kaladesh was quite steadfast in having no major development. Given that the estimated value is now once again matching the booster box price, we should definitely expect to see an overall set decline in the coming weeks.

Although we saw some multi-dollar jumps, the percentage change is minor given Inventions' high dollar values.. Inventions followed Kaladesh's lead and had very notable change oustide of set trend.
Chalice of the Void was the only card that saw a significant change, with a 7% downturn. Chalice has been on a roller-coaster for some time. It reached it's highest price five months after release, but has now dropped back down halfway to its lowest price only a month later.

Eldritch Moon's two Zombies staples took a hit this week. While the actual monetary change is small, Crypt Breaker and Dark Salvation both saw large percentage changes. Crypt Breaker dipped down 12%, while Dark Salvation saw a 17% decline. It seems their previous spikes peaked a bit too high, and the market corrected. They continue to have a strong appearance in Standard, however, so I would not expect them to see much further loss.

Shadows over Innistrad followed suit with Eldritch Moon. The two major changes were the Zombies centerpieces from the set. Diregraf Colossus and Relentless Dead took a 7% and 9% hit, respectfully. Again, this is simple a market correction from a sudden, massive spike. Both cards continue to be well above their April prices.

The above trends continues in Oath of the Gatewatch. The only significant change the set saw was a card correcting from a previous spike. Sphinx of the Final Word saw a 10% decline, but is still triple the price it was a month ago.
Interestingly, the set has seen value growth because Wastes continues to rise in price. As a set common, value here is exponential. The average box has over $10 in value from Wastes alone.

Ulamog price corrected. Although it lost 10% of its value, it's still one and a half times it's price from a month ago.
Gideon lost most of it's Pro-Tour rise, and the rest of Battle for Zendikar slumped down a little more. The no-chase boxes have dipped even further. If you don't get an Ulamog, Gideon, or Expedition, you're looking at less than a $0.90 average value per pack.

Overall Summary
As my recurrent commentary indicates, this week had a very strong trend across all sets. The previous two weeks saw massive spikes from the Pro-Tour, and as the demand subsided the market corrected downward. The rest of Standard remained fairly stagnant, with very few meaningful changes beyond only the normal gradual devaluation.

Don't get me wrong, I wish some of my cards were worth what is stated here, but the reality if I tried to sell them would come up far short.

Posted May 27, 2017Each price is, specifically, the median listed sell price on TCGPlayer (for NM non-foil). TCGPlayer has hundreds of sellers through there sites, so this is generally a strong indicator of the average price you'll see online through businesses, large sellers, etc. This is the Median price.
Now, the Market Price is "how much has this card actually been selling for recently". Market price is almost always lower than the Median price, since people almost always buy the cheapest listings.
Additionally, ebay is usually cheaper than most online shops and businesses, since you're going person-to-person who's motivated to sell quickly, and without the assurances/etc of an online shop. Even online shops like Troll and Toad will unload extras and slow movers on ebay cheaper than they list on their site (personally bought from them like this). Ebay is on the cheap.
There is give and take between Median and Market. Market is much better at determining what you will actually get from selling now. Median is better at determining the average that you'd pay through a shop, and is much better at predicting changes.
For instance, if there's a sell out on CardX, then the market price will show what that sell out went for. It has no care for current price and availability, only what happened recently. The Median price will show what it's looking like now, and a better idea of what it will be when the items get restocked.
All values here represent the realistic best case scenario, giving no discounts. Set Value is a good example. Set value is the total value of every card in the set, assuming the average price. One would never be able to sell for that full amount, and would hopefully never pay that. BUT, if you were to give the exact average selling price for each and every card in the set, that's what you'd end up with. (Reality is usually half that or less)
Only the Estimated Value gives concessions, by ignoring all card values that aren't worth at least $0.50. This gives a more accurate estimated value, but is still assuming you get full value out of everything over $0.50.
In reality, if you're an individual selling your cards in small doses, you will be taking a 20%+ hit. You have a lot of competition, and if you don't want your card to sit in a listing for months like businesses can, you need to undercut. If you're a shop, your sales are across larger volumes, allowing cards to sit for longer periods at better-for-you prices, and making up ground by actually selling the lower priced cards.
