This article series documents the price changes of cards in print. We will track how cards go from release to its time out of print. We're currently tracking nine sets: Theros Block (Theros, Born of the Gods, and Journey into Nyx), Khans of Tarkir Block (Khans of Tarkir, Fate Reforged, and Dragons of Tarkir), Magic 2015, Magic Origins, and Modern Masters 2015 Edition. A Standard set runs as long as it's Standard-legal, whereas non-Standard sets will be run as for as long as deemed necessary.
This will be updated every Monday and Friday. The Monday update will follow the Magic events on the weekend to see price changes as a result, while the Friday update will track any changes before the next series of events. The prices come from TCG Player’s median, tracking cards valued at $2.00 USD and up.
There will be upcoming changes that will be implemented periodically throughout this time until Battle for Zendikar is brought to this article series. Feel free to comment about the changes. There will be a section under summary that includes the value of the set only counting cards worth more than a two dollars.

Set Summary Value of the Set: $211.73 Biggest Change: Jace, Vryn's Prodigy at +$2.46
The set is trending downwards, as is to be expected of the set predominately drafted. Landfall enablers are looking like a good investment. Nissa will probably go up or stay the same if green-based decks do well.
Jace, Vryn's Prodigy looks like the second best Jace ever printed, which is saying something because all but one Jace has seen play in multiple formats. This is a card to either flip for the immediate profit or to hold for the long term, depending on how you feel about the hype. |

Set Summary Value of the Set: $144.06 Biggest Change: Dromoka's Command at -$1.02
This set is balanced between moving up and down. It is stabilizing after the massive drops. Shaman of Forgotten Ways feels like a flash in the pan, but until Battle for Zendikar is fully spoiled, judgement should be reserved. Picking up Dromoka's Command now is a good idea. That card is very strong, despite the most-played enchantments going away post rotation. |

Overall Summary
Battle for Zendikar spoilers have started en masse and have shown some of the themes. Ramp, landfall, allies, and creature-based control. That is what is best to focus on when speculating. Fetchlands are a safe target to speculate on, as they are great with landfall and mana fixing in general across every format that can play them. Theros is winding down as a valuable set, but there is future value in the sets. Gods will have casual appeal for awhile, and Mono red got some nice cards from this block.
