This article series documents the price changes of cards in print. We will track how cards go from release to its time out of print. We're currently tracking eight sets: Theros Block (Theros, Born of the Gods, and Journey into Nyx), Khans of Tarkir Block (Khans of Tarkir, Fate Reforged, and Dragons of Tarkir), Magic 2015, and Modern Masters 2015 Edition. A Standard set runs as long as it's Standard-legal, whereas non-Standard sets will be run as for as long as deemed necessary.
This will be updated every Friday. Monday after the weekend of Magic which will see what cards went over the weekend and the Friday before those events so track the major changes. The prices come from TCG Player’s median from $2.00 USD and up.

Summary
The set has just been released and we're already seeing drops in card prices. We expect a lot more to drop off the list as the set gets closer to release date and the three Modern Masters 2015 Limited Grand Prix events. It's recommended to hold off on buying any cards from Modern Masters 2015 unless you need the card at the moment. With a minimal amount of new art, there's no reason to get these cards as they are all reprints. It is not like a Standard set, where no one has these cards already, but it is catch up for people who need them. |

Summary It looks like Dragons of Tarkir is finally starting to cool off and prices are coming down, most likely due to the interest in Modern Master 2015 Edition and the associated Limited Grand Prix events. Collected Company and Den Protector are among the hottest cards in Standard right now. Collected Company is making splashes in Modern in two different green decks, Elves and Melira (no) Pod. Overall, the set is good value, and if you are going to crack a Standard box for value, this is the best one. |

Fate Reforged
Set | Date | Date | Change |
Biggest Loser -$0.47

Summary Surprisingly, Soulfire Grandmaster overtook Whisperwood Elemental. Whisperwood was expected to be the second most expensive card in Fate Reforged. Ugin is still the most expensive card in Standard, although Dragonlord Ojutai is trying hard to take that. I anticipate Ojutai to swing for that goal. Overall, the set continues to decline, most likely due to currently still being drafted, and will be drafted until Magic Origins comes out. There probably won't be a massive amount of Modern Masters 2015 booster drafts. |

This set is a mix of increases and decreases. It still has the most expensive uncommon in Stroke the Flames. The set has some Modern and Eternal playable cards such as Sliver Hive, Sliver Hivelord, painlands, Chandra, Pyromaster, and Chord of Calling. Hornet Nest is slowly becoming a mainstay in the sideboards of all Standard green decks. |

Thank you for the feedback.
The "change" would be much more useful if it were color coded so that a quick scan could reveal the winners and the losers. Perhaps, green for gainers, dark green for cards that have gained more than 10% (or whatever is deemed significant enough to be something other than normal fluctuation) and the same for losers with red and dark red. The arrows aren't good for quickly highlighting something.
Change for just the most recent period (3 or 4 days) is not enough. The charts should include some amount of historical data, covering at least the last two weeks. Seeing a series of green numbers means something even if all the gains are small; if a card is up a nickel one week and down the next, flip-flopping around a price, that means something too.
