Feb 10th: The giveaway is official closed! Winners will be announced in the next few days!
To celebrate the new MTGSalvation site going well and truly live, we're hosting a Theros giveaway! To participate, just post here in the comment section telling us about your favorite Magic card!
The Rules of the Giveaway
- Each winner will get 6 Theros booster packs.
- We will randomly draw 15 winners from those who participate.
- For legal reasons, we are only able to ship to the following countries: US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany and the UK. If you do not have a delivery address in one of these countries, you will not be able to win the giveaway.
- Each user may only enter once. Multiple posts on the same account will count as one entry. Those caught entering more than once using multiple accounts will be disqualified.
- If you don't name your favorite Magic card, we won't know if you're explicitly entering the giveaway or not, so we won't be able to take your comment as an entry into the giveaway.
- Staff members (moderators, global moderators & administrators) are welcome to post their favourite Magic card, but they won't be entered into the giveaway.
The giveaway will end on the 10th February at 5PM CST, just 7 days from now!
Sadly it is not as powerful as it used to be before the legendary rule chenged again with M14.
With a tear in my eye, I pass the cash. My friend looks me in the eye as I sadly eye him, and then he slaps me. HARD.
"Why would you pass a jace?!" he shouts, as if his slap hadn't already disrupted the draft enough. Sadly, I pick up my foil jace and show it to him. He was then given a warning for being disruptive and the judge bought me a coke.
Now, this might be hard to digest, guys... but I really, really like Norin the Wary.
It took me so long to figure out why it was printed and further more way it was a rare. I always wanted to play it in a goofy do nothing deck
Also, digging the new look of the site and whatnot.
Great Artwork, a 5/5 flying hexproof answer to opponents making you sacrifice, and more importantly, an Angel (One day I will have a Modern competative Angel themed deck, oh yes, one day). She was an all star in my Selesnya deck pre-rotation and a great addition to my Pod.
Honorable Mentions
Zendikar full Art Lands: Stunning basic lands, I wish they'd do full art for all basics each set (theres no text required after all)
Talrand, Sky summoner: My first Introduction to Magic was the m13 Introdeck with Talrand, Cast 'Talrands Invocation' for 3 drakes, Yes I think I will.
Champion of the Parish: My first attempt at constructing a deck was white weenie humans and this guy was a star, especially late game with Cathars Crusade and Flashbacked Increasing devotion he became an absolute monster.
